I like that little tidbit from Fridge about Keenan/Burke re: powerplay practice.

That was worth watching tonight alone. Buff was pretty pissed at him too. Gave him a nice poke to the back of the knee. During the stoppage they showed Karri laughing to himself about it.

I can only assume it's so we can trade him. You know - showcase his skills. But it's kind of backfiring.

Hahaha no kidding. I mean he's got 1 goal all season. The offence he showed last season has dried up. Why he's out there instead of Hamilton I'll never know.

Since I can't watch this game can someone explain the uproar at Wideman on that PP?

Overblown. Buff pressured him and he lost the puck at the line on a 5 on 3.

Almost entirely over reaction.

He must have made a mistake or missed the net with a shot. Plus, the narrative is important.

Our PP issues are only enhanced since they've been so bad the whole year, we've never been great on 5-on-3 this goes back before Hartley, Wideman like much of our guys on the PP try to do too much all year... Pass once or twice quick then shoot, make sure you try to collapse towards the net a bit so you aren't taking weak outside shots and move your feet, 1-step makes all the difference

I'm pretty sure we were the best 5 on 3 team in the league in 2010-2011

Who the #### would have thought the Panthers would only be 1 point from first in their division.

Just shows the Canadiens are crap without Price.

Others have said it, but Buf got in Widemans grill just as a pass got to him, couldn't get control and it squirted out down to the other end of the ice.

That's it? By the reaction it seemed like he tried to shoot at our own net.

Their D corps is solid but not spectacular. They've drafted better than EDM with all those top 5 picks. Jagr, Luongo and Mitchell anchor the veteran presence. It was only a matter of time. And Ekblad, that guys good.

Ah, 5 on 3 and the worst pp in the league. The frustration mounts. No biggie.

No it isn't an overreaction. I think at this point in the season and given the on ice performance, asking why Wideman is still on the PP is a very valid question.

Really?!? Wow I just know I've never really been as excited for us on the 5-on-3 compared to a reverse situation I always felt really worried we wouldn't kill it off
