GAUDREAU THIEF!
As we reach the halfway point of The Genius, we unveil a special game. The winning conditions for this game (and only this game) are:
Winning Conditions The player with the most total Gaudreaus at the end of this game is the winner, and will receive 2 Gios
The player with the least will be elimination candidate.
This is also the game where we will give out the most Gaudreaus, up to 64.
Now onto the game itself:
Gaudreau Thief has Mafia,Cartel,Police and Beggar characters. Based on the number of players to choose each character, a limited amount Gaudreaus will be distributed.
The 8 players will start by drawing a number from 1 to 8 to determine their turn order. The game will consist of 8 rounds and each player will go first once. (ie if you drew #8, you will go last in Round 1, 1st in Round 2, 2nd in Round 3 and so on..)
Each round of the Gaudreau Thief will be played for 8 Gaudreaus (4 pairs of 2 Gaudreaus each).
When it's your turn, you will pick one of the 4 characters each round.
Each player will pick by PM'ing GirlySports their selection starting with the first player. Then the player must state in the thread which character they chose so that every player can see. Of course this means you may lie about your character choice to mislead other players. Each player will take turns to choose a character and then the characters (that were PM'd) will be revealed.
When every player's identity has been revealed, the Gaudreaus will be distributed as follows:
1) The criminal organization (Mafia or Cartel) that was chosen by more players will split 4 pairs of Gaudreaus evenly.
2) They will not get Gaudreaus left over after an even split.
3) If both criminal organizations are even or no one picks them, the players that chose police will split the Gaudreaus evenly.
4) If there are Gaudreaus after the criminals and/or the police have taken their share, the leftover Gaudreaus will be split evenly by the beggars.
5) If there are leftover Gaudreaus after the Beggars get their share, those Gaudreaus go out of play.
Some examples.
If there are 0 mafia, 0 cartels, 5 police and 3 beggars. 4 pairs of Gaudreaus cannot be split evenly with 5 police. So each of the 3 beggars get 2 Gaudreaus and 2 Gaudreaus go out of play.
In other words, any category that has 5 players will be shutout.
If there are 3 mafia, 3 cartels, 1 police, 1 beggar. Mafia and cartel tied, the 1 police gets all 8 Gaudreaus.
If players lied and got Gaudreaus that round then there is no penalty. Players who failed to get Gaudreaus and lied about their identity must give up 1 Gaudreau.
Gaudreaus may not be given away during the match except for at the end of the 3rd and 7th rounds where each player may receive up to 2 Gaudreaus total from other players.

If there are five cartel, two police and one beggar do the police split all eight?
Three cartel, two mafia, two police and a beggar would be 2 each for the cartel and one each for the police?
If there are five cartel, two police and one beggar do the police split all eight?

1. The beggar gets all 8
2. 2 each for cartel and 2 for the begger
the police can only get gaudreaus if mafia/cartel are tied.

From the examples given, I think that would be two for each cartel member, and two for the beggar. It appears that Gaudreas can only be awarded in pairs in this game.
