Outside that one rush Bennett was terrible tonight.

Getting sick of him trying to toe drag consistently. He knows he's a Glame not an Oiler right?

And the Flames are back down to 5th in the Pacific.

Now the Jets game becomes a must win, otherwise we'll be right back where we started...

It's Kris Russell.

Also for the record: Bennett and Colborne.

I've got to agree with this. Colborne had been horrendous these last two games but Bennet isn't that high above him in play level.

I thought Bennett played really well.

Detroit played a great game. Mracek played a great game. We lost. PK was perfect. We got a PP goal. Only disappointment to me was the dreadful faceoff % and Bennett's low ice time. Move on to Tuesday.

Winnipeg, Edmonton, Anaheim, and LA at home before the new year. Hoping we can get 6 of 8 points from those games.

Mony was 3W 16L in the faceoff circle for 16%. Ouch.

Did Hartley learn that Colborne is awful on the PP? Or that Jooris is great on the PK? What exactly is Colborne good at?

The only thing he really excels at is along the boards.

He doesn't though. He can keep the puck, but it's irrelevant if you can't do anything with it

Using Colborne with an extra attacker makes sense to me normally. Our skilled players aren't typically great at digging a puck out of a scrum along the boards.

So Gaudreau/Monahan/Hudler are unlikely to retrieve a puck that's being pinned or on a dump in. Adding Colborne has worked well for that very reason (see the tying goal vs Detroit earlier this year).

Real music artists play actual intruments. This is just a huge middle finger to one of the best composers of our lifetime.

I posted after the first that they needed to stop with the giveaways.

They didn't, and it cost them another two points.

Horrible effort in the second. Looked like they couldn't wait to get back home while Detroit looked like they actually wanted to win a hockey game.

Sad.

It would make sense if he wasn't in as horrible of a rut as he is in now. The guy has been noticeably terrible these last two games.

I would know this if they showed up on the scoreboard once and a while.
