Default 2 Mac's employees killed in 2 separate stores in Edmonton

Quote:
Three people were charged Saturday with first-degree murder in the killings of two convenience store clerks in Edmonton Friday.

Laylin Delorme, 24, Colton Steinhauer, 27, and a 13-year-old boy who cannot be named are each charged with two counts of first-degree murder, robbery with a prohibited restricted firearm, being disguised with intent and other offences.

All three have criminal records and were prohibited from possessing firearms, police said. The boy had been scheduled to appear in court Friday on unrelated charges.
Save the Edmonton jokes. RIP hardworking guys.

It sounds like the cops found these guys at a third Mac's store.

Man that is just awful. There is a Mac's just a 10-15 minute walk away from my house.

Rest in peace.

13 years old. Wow. Aside from all the other reactions to this news, the senseless loss of life, etc. I just find it hard to accept that a 13 year old is involved in this kind of thing. Absolutely disgusting.

And they said the 13 year old had a history of violence. Yikes.

No matter what you grow up or are exposed to how can you have a history of violenve that culminates with murder at 13?

I've represented clients who were charged with murder at 12. It happens.

That's a Jr High school student. You guys never knew or went to school with people that had histories of violence or a record with violent charges at that age?

Obviously the murder is uncommon, but the record isn't that shocking.

With all due respect to the nature and tone of this thread....almost everyone has a convenience store within a 15 minute walk from their house.

I know a couple of people who, by the time they were 30, had spent more time inside of a jail than out of it. Totally institutionalized. They are a scary breed. Sad for those who lost their lives, for sure. Sad for the kid who will have a very hard chance to ever turn his life around as well.

Edmonton police staked out at another Macs and that's when the pursuit began.

Good job EPS.

Damn I go into that second location all the time, right across from the triangle MacDonald's ... Sends a complete chill down my spine, I hope those excuses for human beings get what's coming to them.

Marge Gunderson: So that was Mrs. Lundegaard on the floor in there. And I guess that was your accomplice in the wood chipper. And those three people in Brainerd. And for what? For a little bit of money. There's more to life than a little money, you know. Don'tcha know that? And here ya are, and it's a beautiful day. Well. I just don't understand it.

Anyone wonder why only Mac's stores? apparently in the area of the shootings there are 6 other convenience stores including four 7-11's.

LOL yes. I was tired out of my mind when I made this post, let a person live.

Plus I was just thinking mostly about how I used to consider working there for a bit but I never really followed through with it, that particular store just gave me a weird vibe. But yes how very convenient that a convenient store would be near my house, smh.

Thoughts are with the families.
