God I hate it when Hitchcock teams get a two goal lead. The rest of the game is a slow suffocation of the other team with almost no attack. It's like playing hockey against a boa constrictor.

What are you guys talking about? The "inconclusive" call had zero to do with monahans possession. The ref was referring to there was no video evidence that supported reversing the ruling on the ice which was a high stick.

Brodie had a really nice deflection to Tarasenko.

Ugh. I got that last year. Way too many awful ones for my liking that wound up down the drain.

Also, word to the wise, apparently wives in general disapprove of starting to drink at 1:00 in the afternoon. Who knew? Anyways, Pro Tip there for you all.

"You're going to be drunk by the time family comes over later tonight!"

Thats the plan. God willing.

If there ever was a time to break a PP slump (0 for 18) - this is it!

If anyone really cares - this is the rule on high sticking for goals:

Quote:
80.3 Disallowed Goal – When an attacking player causes the puck to
enter the opponent’s goal by contacting the puck above the height of
the crossbar, either directly or deflected off any player or official, the
goal shall not be allowed.
The determining factor is where the puck
makes contact with the stick. If the puck makes contact with the stick
at or below the level of the crossbar and enters the goal, this goal
shall be allowed.
A goal scored as a result of a defending player striking the puck
with his stick carried above the height of the crossbar of the goal
frame into his own goal shall be allowed

This year is just beer from North America, last year was world wide so there were some weird ones. Only 1 bad one so far this year.

What a waste of Johnny Hockey.
