Saves like that will help change the tide in this game.

I remember when there used to be triple headers on HNIC.
Rogers is ruining hockey.

I think Bennett just needs to shoot more, rather than being a playmaker.

It's a step forward to being a contender if you can go toe to toe with teams that own you. So as far as this current iteration of the Flames roster goes, the Blues are the team they should be gaining ground on in terms of being able to fight through and make a marked improvement.
For me as a fan it's a measuring stick game as I get to watch and see if they can get over a team that just has them figured out.

Is Hrudey on the HNIC panel tonight or something? This is the second game he's missed on this road trip. Hope that's what it is and there's not a family emergency or something

Should be obvious that doing well against a top team is in fact a measuring stick game?

Brodie is having a really rough start. Making bad reads all over the ice. Very rare occurrence to see him struggle like this.

The only other game happening right now is the Hawks & Sabres, which is almost over. And Rogers can't let the rest of the country watch the Flames game? So freakin' annoying.

The Flames main need is a scoring RW that could play with Gaudreau and Monahan. Unfortunately, that's likely an offseason target rather than something that can be addressed right now.

For sure. I do like Jones, but he's a 3rd liner.

Not a single scoring chance for the Flames so far.
