too true, once drivers can figure out a double or triple left turn then we can move on to traffic circles. The route I drive home has both of these, I always turn from the right most lane and have to watch for drivers from the inside lane(s) turning into my lane, nearly a daily occurrence that if I wasn't watching for this would be side-swiped.

Hate this intersection! I used to be green, going to Pisces Pet store (so either straight or left turn) and pretty much stopped going to that store because it was such a pain. By the time all the browns and blues had gone, everyone else missed the brief gap, trying to figure out who had the right of way.
Recently, I've had some opportunities to drive the blue route, and don't mind it nearly as much, but I'm always vigilant for people with stop signs getting confused and pulling out when they shouldn't.
Basically, it's just a stupid intersection!

I drive here often, and I have never had an issue with waiting or someone else going out of turn.
Basically, you just need to learn to drive and it'll be good.
If the guy in front of you isn't doing what he needs to, then use the horn.

I actually saw a head on collision on the 37 Street SW circle as it comes off Glenmore. Not sure how that is even possible. Calgary drivers leave a lot to be desired.

There is heavy traffic on this road headed south in the morning, north in the afternoon. A traffic circle would slow things down for that traffic, which includes all truck sizes, meaning the traffic circle would have to be big enough to accommodate them. It's not going to change ever.
11th south has the right of way, and many times the other roads are at the whim of a Samaritan letting them through.

There's a traffic circle in Ramsay that I use almost daily. At least once per day, either when I'm driving to work, or going home, there will be one driver that will blindly enter the traffic circle. They don't even bother to look to see if there is anyone already in the traffic circle, that they need to yield to. Also, even though there are signs saying which lane you should be in for each exit, people don't bother to choose the correct lane for their exit. Some drivers in Calgary live in their own little world.

Im not familiar with the intersection in this thread but there is a traffic circle at Hwy 8 and Hwy 22. Lots of traffic including trucks and it seems to work well enough.
