Gotta give Ramo props when it's due, and tonight it definitely is, he was fantastic.
Still not a fan at all with all the PP time Raymond is getting, but he is trying and he scored, so good for him.
I thought the Engelland penalty in the 3rd was an obvious call by the refs to get the game closer and more 'exciting', that was just an awful call. Thankfully they killed it off.
Pretty obvious, but the team is playing better because of the defense and goaltending. Gio looks like he's getting closer to last year's version, Hamilton has been great for weeks now, Russell is playing better. If they ever figured out how to score on the odd PP they could be in for a solid season.
Also, really glad to see such a solid 2nd period when at times that middle frame is the one that kills them. Not a flawless road game, but pretty darn decent considering who they were playing.

It's not just a 7 game winning streak, but 6 of them have been against teams in a playoff spot, and 4 of the wins have come against 3 of the 5 highest scoring teams in the League.
Tonight, they held the highest-scoring team in the League to 1 goal.
Hamilton was a -11 after 9 games. He's now a plus player for the first time this season.

Ya no. goalie helmets come off easy . I had a guy take a slap shot from the blue line that blew my helmet off 8 feet. Thats no indication of that the force did any considerable damage.

Ramo was the man tonight. He made the saves he was suppose to and made some huge saves in the third. Play like that more and the Flames will be ok in goal.
