My Mexican Weding Pics!! Thanks CP
As some of you might remember my girlfriend (now Wife) and I were involved in a contest with the Calgary Sun back in April. We ended up winning a destination wedding to Mexico. We won largely in part due to all the support and votes we got from everyone here at Calgary Puck. We wanted to thank you all again very much as we had an incredible time. I thought you might want to see some pictures of Mexico, the resort, the wedding, and other things that you helped us win.
We actually got married in mid August but I have been procrastinating posting the pictures.
The view of the resort
The Gazebo we got married in
You may now kiss the bride
All 23 people that came down with us
Pics on the beach
What a handsome devil!!!!

One night we were out eating at a restaurant called Pipi's in Puerto Vallarata. They have incredible Fajita's and Margarita's, if you are ever in PV you have to try this place. Anyways a guy walks in that most of you here will recognize. I recognized him as soon as he walked in but I didn't want to bug him on his family vacation. However a few minutes later he came over to our table and said to my cousin (who was wearing a Phaneuf t-shirt) I'll give you 100 pesos for that shirt. He hung out with us and talked to the whole table for 15 minutes and took some pictures. He was surprised to meet so many fellow Calgarians in Mexico.
I feel moderately gay posting my wedding pictures on a hockey forum. However if it wasn't for all your support and votes we wouldn't have won this trip in the first place (plus my wife is making me post them. She is now a lurker at CP)
Thanks again everyone!!

Why do you feel moderately gay?
1. You have proof of heterosexuality in the pictures
2. You have a picture with Mumbles.
Nothing gay there!

Nice pictures. Looks like you had a good time. The pics of you both on the beach are really nice, you both look really snazzy, your wife looked gorgeous in her dress!

Congrats, man. Looks like you had a great time. So, did Mumbles buy you kids a drink? Was the bartender confused as hell by what he said???

Great pics! Curious, were the photos done by a professional or a friend?

They were professionally done. Some guy from the hotel took them. He did an awesome job. We were a little worried what we were going to get down there but he was great! We have about 200 pictures altogether and they made a really cool video for us as well. I was very impressed with the production.
Aldo Tovar was his name.

Welcome back Shawnski! I was thinking about you today, wondering if you'd be coming back around soon! Great to see you.
And so as not to hijack the thread, congrats to you and your bride Mike.
