He didn't call them dirty. But here are his exact words. "They're rapists."
So we all good here?

Very out of context. I think you are referring to his comments on illegal immigrants. I believe there are very good stats on the crimes that illegal immigrants commit if you care to look them up.
I for one can't understand why anyone would be for illegal immigrants. They are criminals right from the start, and a total negative on any society. If you want to live, work or be in any country in the world you need to follow the laws of the country or leave.

True story: Trump is not deporting a single illegal immigrant if he wins. He's saying what he has to to drum up support from the (obviously very stupid) GOP base. That most of his supporters think he's gonna do everything he says is quite hilarious. He's actually being a total politician right now, saying whatever it takes (namely, what they wanna hear) to win the nomination. But he'll never do most of the things he's said (due to practical/cost/legal reasons).

It's not out of context and no there isn't good evidence that crime goes up. He was talking about Mexico "sending the US it's rapists", as in overly sending their criminals.
The degree of mental gymnastics required to defend those comments is astounding

Yeah, I guess he is just being misunderstood

Furthermore, it appears he is wrong on much of his points.

There are very good stats on citizens committing crimes too.
Vast swaths of the USA used to be Mexico. They are just returning to their homeland.

Say want you want about Trump, he's an idiot. That said, from a pure economic standpoint, Canada as a country, would be a very big beneficiary from a Republican party win in a US election. Nothing made me shake my head more than a bunch of Canadians proclaiming their love for Obama in the last election and saying how it was so great he won again. Obama winning was a direct hit to the Canadian economy. Anyone who actually read Obama's policies and had the slightest understanding of economics would have been able see that. When your country is a net exporter, and your biggest trading partners has a guy pushing "Buy American" policies in his platform and pushing hard for climat change measures (while exempting most of his own industries), I can't see how any rational person would see how that is a good thing.
I personally think Hilary Clinton will be even worse for Canada than Obama was if she wins.

^ Yeah that's just not true. The only thing the Repubs will do is approve the pipelines, but that's irrelevant when the NDP doesn't want to do it. Canada generally performs better when a Democrat is in charge

Historically they have, but I'm not talking about historically. Canada certainly didn't do better under Obama, and I suspect that will replicate itself with Clinton. These numbers don't really disprove anything I said. You are taking numbers from 1971 and implying Obama had something to do with that. Would be interesting to have those numbers split between past democrates and Obama. Obama's presidency has not been good for Canada.

Those numbers actually don't even include the 2nd Obama term. Most of the Republicans would actually ramp up domestic energy production even more which obviously hurts Canada. Some of them want walls or more guards at the Canadian border. Trump is running on policies that will isolate America economically. I seriously, seriously doubt any of the GOP field would be beneficial to Canada any more than Hillary would be. Probably about equal.
