Whether squiggs believes me or not I asked Girly a few times what was left for stock and I knew a bunch of clues and none were about 1:30 and what a few people were holding. Not enough stock was bought so it was pretty clear that there wasn't much info about 1:30 out there.

So I figured your clue was about 1:30 so I bailed and sold my stock.

if i were to run this game again i might establish a turn order or have people lineup but then it would take a month.

i have a 9am meeting i have to run to. keep sending, i will process orders (in order) when i get back.

What you could do is have everyone send in a priority list kinda like if you aren't around for a hockey draft by x time. Then you sort through based on either an auction for spots or random then once everyone gets their first stock you open it up to everyone. You could do it in the same time frame.

i think it has to be done where people actually enter a room, i give them the current status, they make their transcations and then leave.

I looked at a timeshare once where everyone sent in a priority list for what week they wanted that year by a certain date. Your priority moved up 1 each year until you were first, then back to the end. If you weren't in by the deadline, you went to the back of the line. I think something like that could work for this game.

IE. Have your order in by 9AM, we go in order, and then you can trade what's left from 9AM-11 AM.

Then next round, everyone has until 12:30 to get their order in, and the order moves up one.

Yeah, Biz's idea is pretty good if we have another game like this one. That way there is a priority list and I don't have to worry about getting the order in at exactly a certain time, but there still is time for trading in that round if required.

It's impossible to be perfect though. Say you're second in line and what you order is not available - do you just have to wait for everyone else? Or do you get to pick ahead of everyone still? There really is no good answer.

I think it would have to be preferential ordering, otherwise it would take forever to get through a round.

IE. I'll take 5 shares of A, or if not available 5 shares of B.

Probably be good to have a fixed format so it didn't take forever for girly to deal with the orders.
