Speaks to the blackmail aspect CliffFletcher mentioned earlier in this thread (or the other thread about cocaine, I can't keep it together anymore ((not because of cocaine))).
Another benefit of normalizing our laws in regards to narcotics.

Those guys deserve some credit but you can't draw that conclusion.

When Ferland himself names those two people specifically, yea you can.

I don't recall him saying they were the only reason. If he did, I stand corrected.
I think the guy who has the guts and fortitude to straighten himself out deserves some credit. And his family too.

I can already envision Stage 3 of the NHL Substance Abuse program:
If a subject finds Stage 2 insufficient they graduate to Stage 3 where Grats shows up to their house and punches them in the stomach.

Good for him I suppose. Not a huge fan of his antics on and off the ice.
Hopefully he's serious about a lifestyle change.

Not surprised by this. I don't think he will see the ice in a Habs uniform.

During the Flames/canucks brawl on January 18, 2014, Giordano and Kassian were both in the box at 4:26 in the first period. Kassian kept trying to chirp, and Gio kept telling Kassian he'd be out of the league within five years. Vancouver fans thought that was ridiculous. Looks like they were right. Five years was way too long.

I'm the same. I can't tell if there is a belief that we might be able to help Kassian and end up with a decent player, or if it's just a bad revenge joke claim for the Byron claim.

I am glad the Flames have too many forwards as it is. Kassian is the type of player uncoils typically see the Flames taking a shot at especially with the want for size up front. He is a big body and has shown scoring touch at other levels. Basically a Ferland that is a year older and was at one point more highly touted. With the team either having to demote Granlund or waive Jooris/Raymond/Bollig it is safe to say Clagary will not put a claim on

It would be something if the Canucks claimed him back.
