I think this one is pretty even. Halak is better going forward IMO, but he's UFA ... Pavelec is still RFA and therefore cheaper, but will probably see his value diminish a bit if Hellebuyck keeps this up.
BTW and off-topic, always pissed when I read Hellebuycks name ... still can't believe I traded him for a 2nd right before the 2014 draft. Chief picked the perfect time for his offer there too, because we all love shiny draft picks.

Correction, you also got Patrick Wey. Who is now out of the league.

To be honest, it was a late 2nd rounder and journeyman dman. I was actually surprised when you said "yes".
I've been lucky with goalies (in Philly)
-Schneider became a great goalie.
-Ullmark (I'd actually signed originally but then released him), Florida picked him up then was giving him away for free so I took him back. Looking good.
-Allen, gave up couple of what looks to be mid 2nds in 2016 and Pokka has turned into a great starter now. Leading the NHL in shutouts and #1 in St.loo
-Hellebuyck as you know...
Too bad that team could never find any sim mojo. Hopefully Duke can figure it out.
And it looks like Rangers end up with Stanton, Bartosak, 2017 2nd out of the back and forth swap. Good for the Rangers.
