Ferland has been playing decent as well.. wtf, does not compute. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Going to the game tonight, excited to see Eichel and Reinhart. Hope the Flames lay a beating on the Sabres. Johnny with another 4 point night would be pretty sweet.

I will be at the game tonight, of course.
Remember, be civil and nice to the sparse Sabres fans at the 'Dome!
...and let's go Buffalo!

Go Flames! Hopefully we can build some momentum off of the San Jose game.

Ferland has been living off last spring's playoffs but last year is over and he's just not that great of a hockey player right now. As an NHLer he's at best a rotational player like Jooris. He does deliver the odd check but his play is a mixed bag as sometimes he makes a crafty play but at others he's turning over the puck. I wouldn't say he's terrible but I also wouldn't say he's been good enough to maintain a steady roster spot in the starting lineup. I'm sure he will be back in the lineup soon but he's a guy that needs to be pushed and Hartley is sending him a message here that he needs to be better.

After leaving practice early yesterday because he wasn't feeling well, Jonas Hiller is MIA at #Flames morning skate today.

Ferland isn't an NHL player on a contender.
He's simply not getting it done in the regular season. This year or last.

He did the job he was asked to do well last season. Threw hits, pumped up the team, and even pitched in a few goals. With that being said though this year he hasn't been the same

Dont the Flames have a losing streak against the Sabres? I feel like they haven't beaten them in years.

Taking a while to get to 5000

The recent history between the clubs is embedded in HD's write up on the first page. Split the season meetings last year. Each won in their own building.
