Looking forward to trying out the sparrow racing tonight! A couple sad notes on Destiny though:
- Someone told me they're eliminating fireteams from joining Rumble? I mean, I understand, as there are some out there who go in as a team and gang up on others, but we never pulled that. We just liked having 6-man showdowns with each other. That was hard enough trying to match two groups of three. Now it's pretty much impossible. I really hope they implement private lobbies as compensation.
- No major DLCs this year, just a bunch of events like FoL and sparrow racing, along with IB and ToO... maybe a few new hidden missions. Probably means no new raids until Destiny 2. Seeing as I've cleared Oryx HM a good dozen times now if not more, means I'll be getting pretty sick of this game fairly soon. Pretty much I just want a HM helmet to drop for me and I'll be done with that raid. Apparently last year's model of having two DLCs in a year is unsustainable by their team (which you can tell, because both of those DLCs were pretty uninspired and underwhelming). Again not the end of the world, but given the amount of time I've sunk into the game this past year, it just feels like the end of an era.
Shoot - forgot about a client event I have tomorrow night. I actually might not be on until the weekend at this rate - so much holiday stuff going on every night.

Beat the golgoroth challenge today fairly easily. Nice to get two guaranteed 320 items!
Wonder what oryx will look like next week.

You have to go into rumble solo. Classic free for all, you can still have a fireteam of 3

Also, beware when decrypting exotic boot engrams. Apparently there's a bug where the engram can turn into nothing right now. Happened to a friend of mine. Also I think there may be a Reddit post about it.

It's not just exotic. It's everything. Happened to me this morning but fortunately it was only a blue engram.
When I first saw the Twilight Garrison, it became my most anticipated exotic. Saved up numerous engrams to use after the patch. Was playing skirmish and for whatever reason the skilled players have been out in full force since Tuesday so this is a decently sweaty match. Won the 1st one on Burning Shrine which I wish I saved.

Looks like a fun chest piece to use... I was really hoping you would've got that evade no scope on that blade dancer.
Game was a 2v3 situation because the 3rd guy on our team lagged out. We pushed it to 4-4, but ended up losing in the end, but it was close.

So the Destiny reddit community seems to be up in arms over a number of bugs that accompanied the recent update. Anyone noticed anything drastically different? Or for most players there is nothing major to worry about?

The big ones got fixed in a hot fix yesterday. Those being exotic engrams decrypting into nothing. And getting rewards from the SRL record book without actually owning the book.
Another bug was that the FWC ship "the climb" was granting rep as you pulled it out of the kiosk
And reddit seems to be up in arms about everything all the time...
