If Matt Hasselbeck takes the Colts to the playoffs he might get in the MVP mix. Pretty amazing how he has saved their season.

Brady for sure is in the mix, IMO. Possibly Carson Palmer.

Seahawks and Steelers are two teams rounding into form that know how to win in the playoffs. Can't imagine too many teams would want to face either of them

The most important thing for the Seahawks right now is getting that first wildcard. That will mean a road game against the winner of the NFC - East (garbage) and then avoid Carolina in the second round.

If they can make it to the NFC title game they'll hopefully have a decent amount of momentum.

The Steelers are so much fun to watch. It's like I'm watching the CFl with all the bombs they throw. I'll be rooting for them.

As far as Im concerned the only NFC playoff spot left is the NFC East winner. It should be there for Washington to grab....but no one seems to grab anything in that Division except for OBJ. I think Seattle will jump over the Vikings to get the 5 seed. Green Bay will win the remaining head to head with Minnesota to set up a 3-6 matchup there. Carolina and Arizona have their divisions sewn up.

The AFC is a bit more interesting. Its now a three way battle for the top seed. Even the Wild Card has about 4 teams in the mix as KC, the Jets, and or Bills could all win out (Bills Jets play each other in week 17 and it could be the one that decides the 6 seed). Pittsburgh is the best of the bunch but have the toughest sched by far. If they get in, they could be dangerous. Really any of KC, Pittsburgh, New York, or Buffalo is better than who will win the AFC South. Right now I think Houston will take it.

The Pats game is one of the strangest ones I've seen in a long time. Early on, everything is going their way. All of the penalty calls are against the Eagles. They go up 14-0. Then they try to get too clever. WTF was that rugby kickoff? Enough with the onside kick crap when you're up two scores, just play football. It all went to hell after that. Then they tease me like they're going to come back only to fall short.

That said, the direct snap/lateral/pass to Brady play was one of the best ones I've ever seen.

Just too bad that Bell went down with that injury. Now that Wheaton is playing so well, an offense with Big Ben, Brown, Bell, Bryant and Wheaton would be a lot of fun to watch. I mean it's already great and Williams is not bad either, but with a healthy Bell they'd be close to unstoppable.

Jacoby Jones is terrible. Would be very surprised if he played for the Steelers again.

Steelers actually have to make it first. Next two weeks: @CIN, DEN. Lose both of those and they're almost certainly out. Seahawks have a very easy schedule until week 17 @ARZ, but they'll likely have a wildcard spot locked up by then. Also they don't avoid Carolina with the 5 seed, they can only avoid Carolina if the 6 seed also wins on wildcard weekend (Carolina plays lowest seeded team left as the #1 seed). Vikings schedule is actually not easy at all so it'll be interesting to see how they respond to yesterday.

Just one of those games. Two special teams touchdowns. A long quick six which was a 14 point swing. The Pats are still the team to beat when they start getting players back.

And as expected, lots of people sounding off on Belichick's animated sideline conversation with the female ref. The same people that likey criticized the league for not having female refs for so long now throwing jabs at what was otherwise a normal coach-(male)ref conversation. I guarantee BB and the ref didn't think anything of it.

Wow, really? Looked like a coach talking to a ref at a football game. Happens a million times per season.

If the cowboys lose by 3 or less, or win tonight, I win my pick'em pool for the week.

Never thought I would say this, but Go Cowboys!

Belichick was clearly mansplaining to her. This has never happened with a Male rep. No never.
