Guys that was one of the best regular season games I've ever seen. Cannot believe the Flames found a way to tie it with a second left. Couple that with the Gaudreau hat trick and the ridiculous end to end action and you've got an unbelievable game.

Calgary's in this weird position where one more regulation loss could end their season, that only added to the emotion of this game. I went from "they're done" to "STILL HOPE!" about four or five times in the span of a few minutes.

San Jose is a must win if they're going to crawl back into contention. We don't have to worry about that until Tuesday - for now let's all enjoy this one. It was incredible.

@NHLBlinn: Guadreau's response to Marchand's penalty box smack-talk

What did you guys think of Hamilton? I thought the PP gaffe was inexcusable but the rest of his game seemed alright to me.

You could tell he had some nerves playing against his old team, it's to be expected. Overall he played a solid game tho.

Hamilton, Brodie and Gio looked like a legit top 3 tonight. First time I have seen it all year. Hamilton's nerves got to him on that pp but he was good other than that.

Agreed, I think if these guys can figure it out and play consistently that's one heck of a top 3. I said before the season started that this team had one of the best d cores on paper, it didn't exactly work out quite as well as I thought but they're starting to show signs of improvement. San Jose will be a huge measuring stick game to see if these last two were just flukey or if the team is really turning around

Wow!

Nice to see its not against the rules to throw hats on the ice. Apparently Canucks fans, and people who don't pay attention, think otherwise.

Johnny is GODreau. Period. I'd give him a 15yr contract if we were allowed to.

In all seriousness, I would have written the Flames off by now, but this team KNOWS HOW TO COME BACK.

Whether we make it or not this year, play hard. My favorite thing is that this team KNOWS how to come back. Every year, we will believe that the Flames can score with the goalie out. We will score in overtime.

AND we WILL SCORE when we are down 1 GOAL while down a goal with 5sec left in the STANLEY CUP FINAL, to FORCE OVERTIME, and WIN!

Our YOUNG players, our CORE players have been taught that, have that in them, and are capable. Our players have not been taught that it's ok to lose!

Grabbed this from the Bruins broadcast:
The zoom in on Connolly's disbelief and the Flames fans behind him is hilarious.

And that's a lot.

But with another several games at home to come, I think we can get to within 2-3 of the playoff line at least if we take most of this homestand.

Fantastic game by the Flames, especially Gaudreau. He is a magician out there.

Kudos for Ramo for making some timely saves.

Hopefully they can keep rolling and make up some ground on this homestand.

This team is better with Granlund on it. Should have been on the team since game 1 cause he earned it in camp. But at least he's here now.

He's like Backlund 2.0, quiet but steady, yet with possibly more potential offensive upside. We just need to make use of his wicked shot.
