Honestly the last two games have looked so much like the 14-15 Flames. They don't crumple the minute something goes sideways.

I wonder if it was Gio or what sparked the turnaround.

Only 5 points away from that playoff spot

While looking it up, I had to do a double take ... -30 goal differential going into tonight is a stat you would expect a team with only a few wins to have.

Not a single player in this league. You could switch Johnny out with ANYONE and I would not take that deal. He's absolute sorcery when it comes to open ice and speed.

I shudder to think what we are going to have to pay Johnny next season, good problem to have though.

There were moments in this game where Marchand had flashes of Theo Fleury's play from the days of old.

Including his penalty shot. Reminded me of Fleury's last shootout goal in the Dome.

The Flames are playing like they should have been. Since Hiller went down, if the season started then, the Flames would be a much better positioned team and they would be where everyone thought they'd be in the standings.

.600 winning percentage here we come.

I love that both Monahan and Gaudreau are incredibly clutch.

All-time Flames OT goal leaders:
1. Iginla (6 in 1219 games)
2. Monahan (5 in 182 games)
3. Fleury (5 in 791 games)
4. Bure (4 in 256 games)
5. Gaudreau (3 in 107 games)
