Why do people hate ketchup on hot dogs? I've never understood that. Ketchup is one of the reasons that make hot dogs tasty. Skipping ketchup on a hot dog would be like going to work without pants. Yes, you could do it, and I'm sure we've all thought about it, but you don't actually do it unless you have a great reason to.
Because there are things you can put on that are actually good. We're not talking about eating plain hot dogs here.

Lol, it's a hotdog, not some fancy high class cuisine. Frankly, I think you're doing the hotdog a disservice by not using ketchup, but that's just my opinion.
Ketchup on hotdogs is amazing. Also amazing is ketchup on your mac'n cheese or kraft dinner. It's literally the best thing combination of all time, and everyone who says otherwise is just plain wrong. I should add though, my girlfriend thinks it is disgusting
I haven't been able to stomach ketchup since I had kids and started rinsing it off plates several times a week. Just the smell of the stuff is enough to make me gag now.

Run of the mill hot dogs that come in a pack of 12: Mustard, Hot dog Relish, Ketchup and a slice of cheddar. Boom.
Those big gourmet ground beef looking dogs: No ketchup, Lots of Mustard, shredded nacho cheese, diced onion, green relish. And sometime just chili with a dab of sourcream and some bacon. Soo good.
