When I was younger, we used to play dealers choice poker a lot and one guy loved playing indian poker. It was way harder than expected and that twist on getting someone to fold a 10 made it very interesting.

Girly, with the holidays approaching and the likelihood that the whole game will not be completed before then, would it maybe be a good idea to get an idea of people's schedules in late December and see if there should be a holiday break?
I'm having a great time with the game, and I'd hate for anyone to get knocked out because they were unavailable for a short time. I'm sure you already planned for this, but just thought I'd put it out there.

The folding a ten is a huge twist, because it makes it more multi-dimensional, almost like a hi-lo type game. Surprisingly fun for heads up poker.
Starseed was eliminated in Round 5 and now there are 10 players remaining.

Regardless of placing, you will need to predict the 1st and 2nd place finishers out of 8 horses.
However, unlike a normal horse race, the result is already decided.
Before the game commences, each player will receive a hint about the placings. Also, we have prepared three additional hits for the price of 3 Gaudreaus each.
BETTING
1) Each player will be given 20 chips
2) You may not give chips to other players.
3) 8 horses will race for 12 rounds
4) The race is 20 spaces long and each horse may move a maximum of 3 spaces per round
5) At the beginning of the round we will move the horses and you will have the duration of the round to place your bets on the table (in the thread)
6) You are allowed to split your bet on several horses but you may not bet more than 3 total chips per round (Betting is done in the thread, ie BET 2 on H4)
7) Also you may not bet on any horse in the no bet zone (the red spaces from 17 to 19)
8) At the end of the race, horses that finished 1st and 2nd will be paid out depending to the odds at the end. As in you don't get better odds at different times, it's all done at the end.
9) Once the 2nd horse crosses the line the race is over, the other horses will be placed wherever they are.
10) The more bets on a horse the lower the odds. We will post the current odds at the beginning of each round.
11) Any chips leftover are discarded.
In other words, if you are certain about 1st and 2nd place, you will want to prevent others from betting on them.
WINNING CONDITIONS
The player who receives the biggest payout will be the winner and get 2 Gios and can give one away. If there are joint winner they all get Gios.
The player who receives the lowest payout will be the elimination candidate.
You will receive 1 Gaudreau for every 10 chips you win.
The round times will be as follows
Thursday
Round 1: 7:30am-11:30am
Round 2: 11:30am-3pm
Round 3: 3pm-6:30pm
Friday

Tuesday
Round 10: 7:30am-11:30am
