Flames come back from three goals down. Monaclutch seals it in the shootout. Benn and Seguin combine for zero points, plus a miss in the shootout.

Winning is a helluva drug. Five in a row at home, including Chicago and now the conference leading Stars.

I'm going to celebrate by eating some co-op brand grilled cheese sandwiches!

For the first time I think this season, we had three legitimate pairings. I don't mean to hate on Engelland, I can't complain about his individual play this year as it's eleven times better than last year - but early on Kulak was a bit physically outmatched as #6 and the Engelland-Wideman pairing just never worked nor did Wideman-Russell.

I did but I turned it back on after 3-2. I don't have the faith I used to with how horrible the goaltending is.

I thought Smid was fine for coming in after not playing forever. Ramo was fantastic in the OT period but some of the goals he allowed were still pretty soft. Raymond also turned the puck over way too much.

It was looking like yet another Flames loss after they went down 3-0 but they completely DOMINATED from the middle of the 2nd to the end. I'm very happy about tonight's win, but as some of you pointed out - this is just the beginning. They've looked good in individual games before this season but they've followed it up with a stinker the next game almost every time. If they're going to build on this they'll need the two points after this one, in my opinion it's a must win if they want to save this season.

Everyone played well other than a few players. Gaudreau, Monahan, Bennett, Backlund, all looked great. Hamilton was a beast, easily his best game as a Flame so far.

Huge win.

I never turned the game off, but I did turn the volume to low and started doing a few crosswords.

Eventually I realized the Flames were playing better, and then was fully aware of the comeback, but didn't want to change anything and risk disrupting the mojo, so I paid as much attention as I dared while maintaining an air of ignoring the game.

Dean did it for us in the pregame thread (even if he did scar Kenobi and Luke) so I figure we'll celebrate with him and his brother and angel too:

Has Hartley lost his marbles? WHY is Raymond out there in 3 on 3 when you have a rested Frolik, Bennett or even Jones?

Ramo made up for being awful in the first period by stealing the game in OT, but our goaltending is going to let us down this season. That first goal was bad and that 3rd goal was very very very bad.
Raymond had a good game. He is also really fast, which helps in 3 on 3.

Totally moot but Why did Raymond get on the ice in overtime? I'm still perplexed by that one.
