Looking for an affordable store I can get name and number stitched onto jersey.

I bought a jersey a couple of years ago with nothing on the back. I was looking for a place in Calgary that does it rather affordablly. I've heard Jersey City does it, but I'm sure there are other local places that can do it cheaper.

Great Plains Cresting is the official crester of the Calgary Flames. if you need a storefront operation, go through Fan Attic. Unofficial names and numbers tend to stick out like a sore thumb.

The Fan Attic typically holds a sale either just before or just after Christmas with 50% off lettering. I've brought in a jersey bought elsewhere and had them do it no problem. They will also do other teams.

Maybe hold on for a couple weeks and see if they run similar deals this year.

I would take it to Canadian Tire, they use Great Plains Cresting as well and I've always had remarkably quick turnaround (I think 55-60 bucks to get the jersey numbered/lettered if I recall)

Flames already had the 35% off everything sale. It was on November 27.

As for the OP, I agree with the above sentiment of taking it to the Fan Attic. Not sure what the turn around time would be, but I bought a jersey last year around Dec 12, and they guaranteed it would be ready before Christmas, and it was.

Didn't even know C-Tire did cresting. If it was 55-60 there's no way it was through Great Plains though. If you go through Fanattic or GP isn't it around $90?

Dumb question, is this for a Jets jersey? GP has all the authentic lettering for the Flames jerseys. No idea if they'd have it for Jets though. Either way, I've had cresting done at GP, Jersey City, and River City. They were all good and around the same price. I find the only way you'll find a deal is if you go heat-pressed (I wouldn't), or catch a sale at Fanattic.

I just phoned one of the Canadian Tire stores and they denied they performed that service. Which CT did you have it done at?

I wish River City Sports still existed in Calgary.
