I will say the timing couldn't be worse for the organization in a time where a lot of people are out of work it's making it an easy decision for fans to hold on to their money as the entertainment value simply isn't there. If the season continues to play out this way and the economy is in the dumps deep into next year I wouldn't want to be selling season tickets for this team.

My flames passion is low this season. I still watch nearly every game but I mostly just watch for 93 and 13. I also keep a close eye on 5 27 7 23 but they have for the most part been underwhelming this season. Oh well we will trade some vets and have another strong draft and off season. We need a number one goalie and some depth scoring. I think the core pieces we have on D are still some of the best in the nhl. brodie hamilton gio - then we have russell who i wouldnt mind re-signing. Wideman needs to go and engelland could stay.

I would like us to move hudler and jones

Hopefully we can see some young kids come up and make an impact. Maybe a cameo for the big Jankowski before the season is done.

All is not lost. I think this season may be a bit of a blessing in disguise in the sense it makes a lot of contract and trade decisions easier on the flames and the players.

I am itching forntheborganization to start making moves for the future again. I will watch every game and come to CO every day but I have lost hope that this is anything but a lost season. That is okay we are still in year 3 of a rebuild and trending in the right direction

I turn off games, or forget they're even on.

I am kicking myself for purchasing tickets this year (only 12 tickets but still...)

I think after last season's high, my expectations were that this was who the Flames are and what I'd be seeing going forward. That set me up to be disappointed this year...which I am...so my passion is low. About as low as pre-2004 when I was actively turning down Flames game tickets.

I get to go to games for free for work. As many as I like.

But I travel a lot and time with family is tight, it's no fun to brave the cold and take prospective clients to watch ####ty hockey. My clients agree, as it is hard to even find people to go. When the Flames are bad it is no fun to be at the Dome.

It's not about the wins, the hockey is ####. This season the Flames are a flat, uncommitted team that looks like the last year before the rebuild started. That scares me, because it was hard getting people to games before the tear down happened.

IMO Flames need radical and decisive surgery to prevent a long term cancer from forming. The high energy style is a must.

Eternal optimist. Still go to as many games as I can, still PVR/watch games. It is all part of the journey IMO. So it is all the same to me. The old never get to high and never get to low.

If this team stays bad for an extended period of time and oil stays low for an extended period time, we might be in trouble attendance wise.

It's bad.. Two years ago, we were bad, but we tried really hard. You could see the effort and you were proud of them even though they lost. Last year was amazing to watch a team so focused and on point with what they knew they were going to do.

This season is like watching the whole team minus Gaudreau, Bennett and Frolik DERP around the ice and not seem to give a damn. Well, I'm fed up. This team should be so much better than they are, and it's like basic mistakes they make. It's infuriating, especially after last year.

The D is atrocious, as is the goaltending, and the forwards aren't much better. It's just unpalatable. I don't know how Oilers fans survived so long with that bowl of suck.

Passion is at an all time low since I became a hardcore fan in 03.

I'll still watch the games, but only on the PVR. My finger is getting more familiar with the fast forward button the more pathetic games I watch.

First year as a season ticket holder. I've attended every game thus far and will continue to do so. I've been invested in this team for years now. Watch all the games, listen to the Fan 960, read message boards etc...

It's been tough. Real tough. But as an avid sports fan and a big supporter of teams in other sports, I've realized that times like these are what makes enjoying your teams success so much more gratifying.

Hoping the Flames can play strong and with pride at home at the very least for the remainder of the year

Its a shutdown league and after one year of surprises the league has figured out how to shut down the Flames. Except 3on3 but theyll figure that out soon.

Im more upset at the league than at the Flames

I still go to every home game and at least start to watch most games, but as another poster said: I'm a fan and watch to be entertained. I'm not their mother. It's a terrible product on the ice

Honestly it's at an all time low right now. And that's saying something because I have been a fan for many, many years.

In terms of caring about wins and loses, I'm starting to not really care. But in terms of liking the team, I as much of a Flames fan as ever.

Then you and I disagree. I never said anything about "I can't give up on them". Don't put words in my mouth. I said I watch them and always will because I like watching them and I like cheering for them. Through the good times and the bad. This isn't an 'I'm a better fan than you!" thread. A question was asked and people are answering.

I simply can't turn the channel or watch something else because I enjoy watching my team win or lose. All that does is make me a fan. Nothing more.

Still passionate enough that I'm angry.

Not passionate enough to glue my eyes to a game. I mean, Fallout 4. And Netflix.

I'm still very passionate about the team. It's just that there's some players who have zero business playing on the team and there's players who I strongly feel should play on the team full time. I find the decision making from the top of the management team to who the coaches choose to deploy and all the way down to the on ice decision making by the players to be absurdly inadequate this season. It's beyond frustrating when it really shouldn't be for a fan.

I don't want to watch these players anymore: Ramo, Jooris, Backlund, Wideman, Russell, this years iteration of Mark Giordano.

I'll still watch, but really, I don't want to when Ramo plays. As much as every goaltender sucks, the stubborn loyalty by Hartley for this guy makes me sick. It really does.

I would rather put any younger bad-ish goaie in net and absorb the pain of losses rather than suffer through watching these vet goalies bumble through the season.

It's funny, I expected this kind of record/performance from the Flames last season. I still like the young pieces they have in place and hopefully the Flames can parlay some veterans into some additional picks/prospects at the trade deadline. Will be interesting to see how some of the young kids are coming along in the final six weeks of the regular season. That's enough to keep me interested in Flames hockey for this season.
