I'd definitely take a guy like him on the Flames. 5th round pick who has really become an effective player. That being said I don't think he belongs on team Canada even with the year he is having.

I know you love the Habs, but he's on the first line of the #1 team in the NHL. I think he's earned the right to be in the conversation.

That's a fair point, but I don't think there's a question he's the third choice on that line. His position is the one that most Habs fans would most like to upgrade on the entire team, and as well as he's done this year, he would be a better fit on a second line.

It has nothing to do with love or hate of the Habs, but the fact that Canada has an extremely deep talent pool to take from, and a guy who's primary skill is being a pest is simply outclassed. Also, if playing on "the #1 team in the NHL" matters, then why don't we just send the Habs entire roster and forget about the pageantry and drama of picking a team?
