We may be tied with the oilers but we have a game in hand!
Take that Shelbyville!

Beating Edmonton only by virtue of the tie-breaker? I would be 0% surprised if that's how the season ended. Terrible season, and the only solace to being last is ruined by the Oilers

Cam Ward? Are people serious?
He hasn't even looked like an NHL goalie the greater part of the last 6-7 years.

I went to watch Spectre (was alright) and I'm watching the Cricket (Aus vs NZ) and drinking instead.
Never thought I would utter those words when I moved down under.

LOL.
If that's the case, we can chalk up a loss right now.

With the way the Flames have been losing and the economy the way it is have the Flames burned off all the good will they built up last year. Just wondering how this is going to affect attendance at the 'Dome.

@no3puttever @NHLFlames Funny Bob. Last year nobody could match /believe our speed and intensity. Where is it? Did we sell it?

Gonna be a long season because we are just past the 1/4 mark and it is over. I don't anticipate veterans to be traded until much closer to the deadline, so we have to contend with weeks of just "meh".

Feeling flashbacks to the 2012-13 season and the 2013-14 season.
Not actively cheering for losses, but I'm not really that upset when they happen any more. We aren't going to make the playoffs. Having as good of odds with getting Matthews or any of the other top 5 players is what is left to fight for. It sucks a lot, but this is the hand they've been dealt.
The next 2 months are going to be painful to watch until we can move some people out, but once that occurs, there will at least be something to watch when the kids come up to see how they are doing.

This will be one of the worst years as a Flames' fan. Remember we have Monahan, Bennett, Brodie and Hamilton which should have made the team much better but we are going to a train wreck, an Indian train wreck LOL

Probably will start seeing crowds in the 17000 range soon and probably dipping towards 14000 in Feb-March

On the bright side, there is always the next game.
You know, at home against Dallas -- the best team in the conference. Besides Seguin and Benn combining for 14 points, what could go wrong?

My 7-year old daughter actually stayed up late tonight and watched the entire game with me. First time ever and a late game to boot. I was proud.
Wish she would have been rewarded with watching a better effort.
There's a growing number of passengers on this team. Things will undoubtedly get better as more of the kids can make their way into the lineup, but unfortunately, no level of improvement will matter when the team continues to get .828 goaltending.

I'm sick of hearing the same damned excuses.
.......You can't hang this one on [Hiller]. We left him to the wolves
.......we gave up too many chances
.......we have to out work the other team
.......we lost too many battles
