Ok so one of Matthews, Laine, Chychrun or Puljujärvi would still be good.

I'm fine now. Get a goalie and add a stud prospect and we'll add to the core.

The worst part about this game is we played this bad with Bollig and Raymond sitting! Now they are going to be back in!

Imagine if we finish last and the Oilers jump up and win the lottery again from like 26th.

I don't think I would want to be a moderator on this board during that meltdown.

To the Flames owners...you cannot ice an AHL team and charge us NHL ticket prices. In the name of economics 101 your business will not last very long in this modern world

So true.

The good news for the Flames is that there is still lots of time left.
This is also the bad news.

Calgary was not lucky for an entire season. To me it looks like Hartley is trying to push the team into some sort of structure but it isn't working.

Hertl hadn't scored in 19 games. Typical!

This does not feel like rebuilding. Too many stupid old guys.

I hate watching fhis team this year.

Ive only been to two games this year. The last few years i went as iften as possible.

If they bury the old guys or trade them my interest will come back. But this #### is unwatchable.

4th pick overall would still be pretty sweet.

It has a lot to do with confidence, for sure.

Looks to me like failure to adapt.

Coaches watched tape over the summer, targeted the Flames system and they haven't had an answer. No more transition passes into the zone, no more goal line passes up the middle...

We need a coaching change, or we need to change the coach, one of the two.

Yup... that is why I call it the Matthew Tkachuk sweepstakes for the Flames.

Really starting to get that vibe from back in the bad old days, Flames get down a couple goals and it is obvious that they don't have the drive to get back in it. Last season almost cured me of that feeling, but it's back.

When you trade your 3 highest picks you concede part of the rebuilding excuse.

Just looking at the big picture....we're certainly not making the playoffs even if King Clancy himself coaches this team. Does it look good on the organization firing the Coach of the Year winner after a bad start to the very next season? You know he's going to be fired, but I'd wait. Otherwise, it's Marty Gelinas or someone like that as our interim coach for the rest of the year. Wait and see who is available after the season. That's what I'd do.
