Team looks lost without a clue. Time for Bob to earn those paychecks.

Last year the Flames kept burning teams with north/south speed that has all but vanished. Now the D fumbles around the puck and tosses it to nowhere.

If you have the worst special teams in the league, give up the most goals in the league and don't play physical at all you're going to be what the Flames are right now.........the easiest team to play against in the league.

For all the talk over the past couple of seasons about truculence, this team is close to the exact opposite.

Oh well. I'll continue to watch the games but no sense in getting worked up about it. Just hope they make some moves this season that will pay off next season and beyond. Finding a #1 goalie would be a great start.

Honestly, I'd rather be down 2-0 early than have the floodgates open in the 2nd. At least this is a different way to lose.

This is a bad hockey team, small up front, no possession, bad goaltending, no physical presence on the backend. Not much positive out on the ice.

My wife just suggested I maybe change the channel. Warms my heart, knowing she's not looking to cash in the life insurance. Because this team is killing me.

These are dark times. I prefer not watching, it's too painful and frustrating watching so many bad giveaways and defensive lapses. I've replaced games with guitar or video games sadly.

Looks like .909 Sv % and roughly 2.65 GAA still bad numbers.

Was that your big Ramo defense that he wasn't quite as crappy as he normally was in November?

Because those numbers only show that he is still awful.

If the Flames continue as they have sports club stats predicts the Flames to have a greater than 95% chance at 1st OA before the lottery.

This is painful. I can't imagine what it would be like to be a player in that room right now. Not sure if it's fixable this year. Too bad. I'll continue to watch but I'm definitely going to need to stock up on much more beer.

So do we switch Matthews to wing or play him center?

No...id suggest .910 is just below average. Its goaltending that gives you a chance to win.

The rest of the team is still not playing consistantly and some players are still playing poorly. But still...goes to show why their .500 through november with Ramo in net.

Last season they were greater than the sum of their parts, this season they are so much less.

Hard to grasp exactly why, but it boils down to that.
