Agree,
But as the last one lasted me for 7 years I figured i would try to get the same out of the next one.
Where will we be in 2022...I12 - I13...J, K, L processors ???
I figured i would set myself up for a few years even if its a bit of overkill.

Debating getting a PS4 - is $370 a good price? I know nothing about them but need to get one to play one game that's coming out later in 2016. (I'm sure I'll find other games for it too.)

I'm standing in Wal-Mart in the exact same predicament.
"Should I buy this for me now? Or should I focus more on buying for others first?"

Easy. Buy for yourself.
If you spend all your money on others there will be nothing left for you.

Decided to ditch the havoc of the malls this time for Black Friday and bought some things off of Amazon.
Does Amazon ship in their own boxes? I don't want my fiancé to know what the packages are in case she is home when the packages arrive.
Also, would a signature be required? All the items together was under $400.

I just had a package from Amazon arrive last week for the first time so I can say for sure that they do arrive in an Amazon box (had mine all shipped together and they came in one box), they do leave it on the doorstep while you're away at work and they don't require a a signature. Mine was just under $300 so I would think its the same.
I told the girlfriend something was coming and not to open it because a gift for her so avoided that problem.

Most Black Friday sales now extend over the weekend leading to up to Cyber Monday. I updated my Black Friday post from yesterday with all the sales that's still available:

You could have gotten it delivered to a post office, either an actual one, or one of those ones in stores like shoppers.

Yeah I was thinking about that, but one of the items didn't let me ship to a p.o box.

Amazon was underwhelming. Also, if you don't hit the 'supersaver' tab, you get offers from their not-in-house dealers. Ended up with $18 in shipping on $100 of product, but spent so much time going through the site that I just bit the bullet.

Well I'm returning the stupid HP. What a joke.
Right out of the box, it froze while it was trying to set itself up. It opens programs as slow as my other laptop. The bluetooth doesn't work. Can't handle youtube videos (Buzzes and glitches while playing videos) and it even froze writing this post.
Great. Returning this should be fun.

They didn't have a lot of good sales yesterday, but Memex SW was still packed in the evening. The line-up was backed right up to the door.
