Powerplay Quarterback

Puck movement on the PP is so slooooooow. Defenders are always in position to block shots.
Too much hesitation. Need confidence.

I don't understand why the coaching staff continues to spoon feed Wideman minutes. He's not that useful if he's not scoring and contributing on the powerplay and he isn't doing that this season at all.

...appears so. In fact, we may be last already with all these missed chances.

The PP would work if the players would execute with any level of accuracy or confidence. It's not the strategy in and of itself, they get lots of chances or at least chances at chances. Entries have been bad, but that's execution, not strategy.

Shot attempts 50-31 for the Flames.
Well at least we're winning the Corsi battle.

I def got my moneys worth on the food and drinks.
We spent $55 on a resell site. A lot cheaper being a Monday night game. Normally you can see the face value on the tickets but it was blacked out so not sure what they were worth.
On a side note, we also went to the Wed game in Tampa. That arena was rocking. They really support their team. Great set up too with a plaza out front serving booze before and after the game and a big focus on game experience. Everybody I talked to really wanted me to know (being a Canadian) how much they support the team.

To be honest, I'm less concerned about both the game and the pizza than I am about whether you'll ever get your answer about the pizza.

Game is blacked out on GCL again but I can see this is another classic Coyotes game in the making.

Yeah there's definitely more fan support than I expected in Florida. I mean there are some real die hards here. The difference between the Lightning and Panthers comes down to success. A cup win and a team that's a playoff threat every year is going to draw a lot more fans than 20 years of ineptitude. I'm convinced that the Panthers arena will be full when they reach a similar level of success.

I long for the day when Dave Tippett is destroying the game of hockey in the German Elite League

This is the most boring game of hockey I've ever witnessed. I don't think either team should be awarded any points.
