I mentioned in the the Home Improvement thread, but if anyone is looking for high quality hand-tools (screwdrivers, hex keys, bits etc.), PB Swiss is having their annual 30% off sale right now at http://www.pbtools.us/.
They are still expensive compared to what you get at Home Depot, but the quality is from a totally different planet. Swiss-made, lifetime warranty, this stuff is for life.

LEGO Dimensions starter sets for $77, I don't have a PS4 yet but maybe I should get that instead of the WiiU version.

Not a BF deal but should meet my needs for the next few years...
My old XP based Toshiba has been chugging along since 2008 so its time for an upgrade.
I was gonna pick it up today / tomorrow...
Would it be beneficial to wait till cyber monday ?
|
If you're able to spend $100 more, I would consider this one:
http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/MX59832
Pretty much the same specs, but also has 128gb SSD.
I like Lenovo, but I love Asus.
I had a very similar Asus for the past 2 years and loved it, except the keyboard conked out, and I hadn't purchased the ISP from Memory Express. So I upgraded to that one I just posted as well, and am excited for it to arrive.

Those are beastly lap tops. I question if you really need that much power considering you were using a laptop that was running of XP for so long...

Don't worry, I'm not. I bought more RAM last week at a discount that I didn't see getting much better this weekend but that will help me beef up my demo reel quicker so it's a justifiable purchase. There's just some cheap games/movies that I see that are tempting.

What makes them superior to the homedepot stuff? Comfort? Less chipping?

Real Dolls are $1250 off right now and 10% off any other accessory for Black Friday. Great product and a really good community with lots of cool people. Not linking because NSFW, but if you're looking for a companion doll, today is probably the best day to buy.
