Is there no Ian in the TFA? That might be cool. He was supposed to have learned something about cheating death.

I briefly looked at the credits on wikipedia for the new movie and didn't see his name.

In the now discarded EU he did, which I hated, because frankly it took the whole story of Vaders redemption in terms of destroying the evil that seduced him and pooped on it, then splashed him with vomit.

I prefer the idea that Sideous never learned to cheat death, his master never learned to cheat it either.

Ironic he could save others from death but not himself.

The Jedi stumbled on the secret of immortality in terms of being able to let go of your physical self.

The Sith on the other hand couldn't do that because Sith can't let go of their power and have a fear of death because of that.

I believe it's the same voice as teaser one last year. That was revealed to be Andy Serkis.

Von Sydow's part in the movie has been revealed through a children's book based on the movie, the contents of which is out there now (though supposedly leaked prematurely).

If you wish to know:

Spoiler!

That is amazing. Is it cut together from another show, or is that actually the show?

I wish it were a real show, I'd watch the hell out of it. Some guy spent four years of his spare time hand drawing each frame of this thing.
