Has anyone seen good deals on good outdoor Christmas light projectors? I hate hanging lights each year, but these contraptions appeal to my lazy, yet festive side.

A guy on RFD posted this Google Docs spreadsheet of all the Black Friday deals on TV's from 50-75 inches. Really good resource for keeping track of all the various deals out there.

That's a decent sheet.
Any idea what "Watch for panel lottery" means?

Generally it means that there are different manufacturer's display panels in the TV. Dell was notorious for a time for having wildly different looking screens in their monitors, for example. You could end up with a distinctly worse looking screen even though it's sold as the same TV.

Samsung has been notorious for their different panels in the last few years. You can often figure out what panel it is by looking at the codes on the outside of the box before you take it home. LG also gets other panels than their in home IPS panels. Sony doesn't make their own panels so it's worthwhile checking out reviews to see if it's what you want.

Excited to use the ANOVA Precision Cooker, and needed a replacement for my dying and calcified old Tassimo.
Get a searz all if you get into Sous Vide. I can't get my pan hot enough, but this works so well. I use it all the time.

You will need a torch head:

but you can get one from home depot as well.

Love my searz all.

Frankly, I've owned 3 HP laptops and have each time wished I'd never bought the damned things. Started feeling like Charlie Brown and they were Lucy constantly pulling the football away. "Here's a good deal on a laptop in terms of its specs and- NOOOOOPE, sorry, it's junk and needs to be replaced after 18 months."

Never buying another one. Just my experience though.

GoPros are on sale if people are looking at action cams. I bought the Hero 4 Session yesterday for $389.

All my work's laptops are lenovos and they've been great, so I went with them for my newest laptop purchase. So far, pretty good - I've had some problems but they've been with software and drivers (Windows 8 is pretty bad).

Costco's got an Aeroplan promotion starting tomorrow through Saturday....4 miles for every dollar spent online. Register here:

https://email.online.costco.com/costco/Aeroplan_en.html

Although if you do spot a deal now just jump on it. Last night both Costco and Bestbuy had a 60" Vizio 4K on for $1350. Both sold out as of this morning.

Where at?

NM. That's the session. Was thinking Solver. Isn't $389 pretty usual for the Session?
