Hudler needs a fire lit under his ass and then he'll start scoring like Hudler again. A night in the pressbox watching Raymond look half-decent with Johnny & Mony might motivate him to start showing up.

My understanding of the rules is he has to stay in the NHL by the team that claims him, otherwise they'd have to send that player down through waivers and the team that originally sent him down would get the first chance to claim that player, then through the normal waiver process again.
If I were the GM of these teams I would really consider putting in a claim on Ortio if he got sent down.

Buffalo

Not exactly. Any team that claimed him would have to put him back on waivers if they wanted to send him down. He would have to go through the regular waivers process and the Flames wouldn't get any special priority on a claim. However, if the Flames were the only team to put in a claim his second time through waivers, they'd be able to send him to Stockton as if he had cleared the first time.

-Ortio had the single worst game by a goalie for the Flames this year. And that is saying something.
-I would be stunned if he got claimed.

I don't disagree haha Apparently I had Hudler on my mind when I wrote that. I meant to say I look forward to seeing Gaudreau and Monahan with Raymond again. Hurdler has indeed been awful. I'm no Raymond fan but they looked dangerous together the other night.

In regards to ortio. If a claiming team try to waive him in the first 30days, he has to be offered back to Calgary first (as per Rob Kerr).
And why would Vancouver claim him? They are not waiving either miller or markstrom anytime soon.

Playoffs were fun last season (despite the losses) but the regular season has been brutal at the Honda Center.
I wish I had a surefire piece of good luck clothing I could wear and guarantee a win. Most of my good luck stuff has worn out it's luck though. Ugh decisions.

There is you answer. You have to get a Wizard hat. Not a Micky mouse wizard hat either. A real one. Wear it to the game and we all profit.

It's so annoying when people who get paid to know this stuff can't take five minutes to actually look it up. The CBA says no such thing.

I think I'm going to settle in with a rye and ginger at home for this game. I must admit I'm a little sick of spending all that dough to watch losses.... Although I have been on TV a few times with my cowboy hat
I think I'll catch the Stockon Heat v Reign tomorrow instead.

You waive Hiller, nobody is swallowing that contract and he will clear. Send him down to Stockton to play and hold the fort there.
