Pretty big collapse in the third by the Jackets. Now 5-3 Sharks.

That was a melt down by the BJs as the Sharks scored three goals in seven minutes.

Part two of the Islanders/Habs home-away series has the Canadiens leading 2-1 in the second period. Tavares opened the scoring late in the first period. Desharnais scored on the power play followed by a shorthanded goal from Fleischman both in the second period.

Why isn't the Canucks game on in Calgary?
This may be a gear grinder, but I pay for 10 sports channels on Shaw (at least) and this game isn't on TV.
Lately I've come across a few non-Flames games that are blacked out, which is new (I think).
I don't expect every game (because I don't pay for Center Ice) but over the last few years I'm sure nearly every Canadian game was somewhere on the dial. This year it's different. Did I miss something?

The Habs win 4-2 with three of their goals coming on the power play. The Islanders tied it in the third period before the Habs took over again on specialty teams.

Even if you pay for center ice you still won't get every game. Last season at least 5 games weren't televised on center ice because they were blacked out and on other specialty channels that you have to order through SN.
That is why for the first time in close to 15 years I cancelled my center ice. Eff you SN.

The Devils-Canucks game is a regional game for the Pacific region only. The game is not part of a partial national doubleheader as it was last week with the Leafs-Rangers and Flames-Blackhawks. Prior to the new national television contract, there were far less games with canadian teams available nationally.

Sportsnet did improve on that this season. There are no Saturday games on the FX channel. Most viewers have Sportsnet One, but, there are some games that you need SN360 and\or the other regional channels. Those games will not be on Centre Ice.

You cancelled Centre Ice because there were ~5 games in the entire season not carried? Wow, tough crowd...

The Devils are hanging on to the 1-0 lead after two periods. Schneider has stopped all 19 shots against his former team.

Greene on the power play, Cammalleri with the assist, and it is now 2-0 Devils.

Schneider with the brain freeze (bonehead) play of the week giving the puck to the Sedins as they score a shorthanded goal. Henrique scores two minutes later to restore the Devils' two goal lead. Cammalleri with three points now.

Devils play some annoying hockey. Then winning and scoring was the only enjoyable part

The amount of canadian teams games on national TV has gone up the past 2 seasons.

A big problem was when SN said there would be no blackouts of canadian teams on the 3 national nights. They messed that up, some games are regional on Sun. (like the Devils-Canucks game) and Wed. Some Sat. games that are in the afternoon are also regional. The thing SN meant was any national game won't be blacked out.

Nice to see that the Devils and Schneider put the Canucks fans through hell and stopping the Sedin party from Saturday night. It was funny hearing some comments that maybe the Canucks shouldn't have traded Schneider after all. LOL.
