He had that one and another in OT where he picked up an errant pass with his stick behind his back to keep the puck in at the blue line that stood out as super skilled and super confident.

If I didn't know better I would say that was a Conn Smythe and two time Norris winner that has no clue what just happened.
What is going to be their next excuse? "The Hawks obviously felt sorry for the midget so they let him have a chance". Johnny is the real deal.

One excuse that is still going around is that someone is going to lay Johnny out with a big hit and that will be the end. Kid is just so aware of what is going on around him and has the quickness to elude hits that it looks unlikely to happen.

The only ones that will most likely hurt him are his teammates when they pile on him in celebration.

That's dumb as that can literally happen to any player, heck that happened to bid bad power forward Eric Lindros.

Gaudreau's a player.

More than likely at 1 point he well get hit hard and miss some time. Really though what payer doesn't. I just really hope it's not a dirty hit early in a playoff series designed to knock him out.

I feel like breakdancing!!!!!

Arrrrrrrgggggghhhhh - in a good way because I just can't express myself!

Think this gif is appropriate for how excited I was for the win and effort the flames had last night!

11 more years.

Although at times the flame have been brutal this year, still an unacceptable way to start the package. Yet as it stands we are only 4 points back of a playoff spot with 61 games left.

I yelled F*** YEAH! so loud that I woke up my sick kids. They came down the stairs rubbing their eyes and asking what was the matter. Wife wasn't pleased.

Who is the nasally voiced dumbass that did the highlight package? Very unprofessional, he doesn't say Flames rather Calgary sucks, which is not true and the guy should be fired.

Gotta give props to Hartley for all the slack he's been given this year. He's really utilized the flames own zone which has led us out shooting the opponents 39-67 the past two games.

Absolutely. Perhaps this is the time they actually win in Anaheim. Would be a huge boon for them.

This is going to be a huge three game road trip. Three division games: ANA, ARI, SJ

Watching Johnny on a lot of nights, and on this OT goal in particular, always makes me think of the expression "he could stick handle in a phone booth". Don't remember who used to say that all the time but seems fitting.

Amazing effort last night. That was the Flames team I was hoping for. Ramo played well, Johnny is insane and has quickly become the best player on this team by a fair margin. He drives the offense, can play a solid 2 way game, and makes everyone around him better. I used to think Monahan was the true heir to Iginla but Gaudreau has taken that position in my mind

Sucks I had to miss this game because a "sports bar" had zero NHL games on.

Sounded like a great effort.

Brodie is the best player on this team. The flames are a different team with him in the lineup.
