Kinda think that's part of the problem. They are throwing everything into the middle where there are 25 sets of legs. Everything is getting blocked.
They need to employ some perimeter play with some east west passing before a shot. That's the reality of today's NHL and goalies.

I feel like there is no playing down low below the hash marks, they want to keep everything up high. But when they do that the forwards never really have to cheat down low so the point isn't open and doesn't have time.
Also their zone entry sucks.

Don't get swept up in the Wideman hate. He's not as bad as everyone is saying he is.
He is just the current whipping boy. Just wait till Raymond plays 10 or so games in a row... Wideman will look like Bobby Orr.
