you're supposed to do what he did in that situation. otherwise, he sweeps to the middle of the slot and has a free, uncontested shot. would you prefer that to happen? smh

As much as the CSN Caps PBP crew have been gushing over Ramo tonight, they're clear as day making it known Ramo gives huge mushy rebounds. He's been limiting them the last few games yes but those fat rebounds will come back to haunt you.
At least the D is clearing them out more.

AC can you put those in Spoiler tabs? It stretches the forum wide and makes it painful to view the forum bud.

Easily my favourite argument.

well, it is true.. it is like baking a cake. and someone says no, you put the icing on and THEN put it in the oven. someone who thinks this clearly never baked a cake.
Some people here make comments and it makes one want to pull their hair out because they clearly do not have a clue.

Hudler has been so ineffective this season. Why can't he spend some time on the 3rd line? Just floats around and shoots the puck into the opposition when he's not making silly passes. Seems so scared of physical contact that he just gives up the puck.

Don't worry. It's contract year so he'll turn it up in the 2nd half.
Which will be good for when it comes time to trade him.
Or bad if we elect to extend him.

Sorry, forgot to resize them this time. I usually shrink them down for the forums. All fixed now.

Honestly, what good is Hudler out of the top 6? If his issue is size and forchecking? How redundant is it to have him on a checking line?
The guy produces points, is a playmake and needs to be top 6 to have any value to the team at all. He's not going to grind out a board battle for puck possession.

This has to be a system thing.... every time a forward turns back and drops it to a d man to regroup (in that case Bennett to Wideman) Bennett swings up the far side and is wide open. This always happens with Johny too but the D man insist on pumping it down the boards where there are a few guys in the same area.
Are they hoping to get a nice tip/kick out of that scrum to the fwd who is wide open sending him in on a partial break? If so, it is not working and leads to a turnover more times than not.

I'd disagree. That may be true sometimes and playing the game does help, but I know lots of people that haven't played but are still knowledgeable.
