Want to offer much appreciation for CHL and others for providing us (who had no other way to follow this) details without political commentary.
Thank you

lol. Stay away from right wing pundits from American sources then. People like Newt Gingrich are dancing for joy that this happened.

I just don't know if going after high level politicians is a good idea for terrorists. All it's going to do is bring down hellfire and brimstone and no one is going to blink an eye at casualty numbers.

I've got to believe that heads of state are nice big trophies but really kills the long game for their intentions. Causing havoc on innocent civilians creates far more unrest and uneasyness which is what they want.

To go after heads of state invites swift and terrible consequences for everyone. Even for blood crazed people like ISIS, that takes away their playground.

Or maybe I'm way off. I'm thinking though the climate talks will be moved or cancelled.

If this is ISIS that's exactly what they want. They believe that their end goal is a biblical end game apocalyptic war in the middle east against the West.

That's why I worry about the G-20 meeting in Turkey where the security has been classed as poor in terms of preparation so far.

Terrorists at the Bataclan were wearing explosive vests but were not able to detonate them before they were killed.

One of the attackers quoted by a witness: "Everything is the fault of your president."

1500 soldiers now in downtown Paris.

These killings don't shake your faith in humanity, but the social media response does?

I'm no Trudeau fan boy that's for sure, but I wouldn't want the Canadian PM going to Turkey right now.

A Polish journalist in Calais is reporting that the Jungle refugee camp is, indeed, on fire currently:

But if the world does't go, they win, right?

Well if that is the case. Better get those G-summit meetings back in places like K-Country.

I think that is an unfair leap in your logic.

I don't think the fire was necessarily questioned, just the pictures that were alleged to be of the fire

I guess you are right. But do we risk it in order to be defiant?

I'm not sure.

I've been to Paris once when my family from Australia came to visit. I've always meant to go back again because it was such a fantastic experience. Its a small gesture, but I'm now going to get up off my ass and visit there again.

No way we can let these animals win - we have to stand together to protect what we stand for. My heart goes out to all those affected by this atrocity.

Only way this ends is a ground war. When does that happen?

Will this event create a 9/11 type response? Will countries decide to invade ISIS, they way they did Afghanistan?

Surely France will be throwing everything they have at ISIS now (if they were responsible)

Have there been any details on whether the band was on stage or involved as hostages at the show?

Tough call. It was ground wars that helped result in the creation of groups like Al Qaeda and ISIS. At the same time, can the world do nothing while groups like this slaughter thousands? Paris is only a drop in the bucket.

Aircraft carriers are already en route. I'd think it's safe to say the ground assault happens quickly and at a ferocious level.
