On top of that, nobody has claimed responsibility yet, that leads me to worry that more is to come tonight.

As well, my thought is that the next smartest attack would be at the G-20 in Turkey.
Seems to be a growing sentiment even in the media right now.

Agence France now says 100 dead inside the theatre according to the police. Just devastating, horrible news.

The ticker on France 24 says "hundreds" killed in the theater.

Disgusting. Shocking.

The French government must be going insane right now with 100 dead at the concert.

I'm sure that sentiment in France is going to turn against the Immigrant community and specifically the Muslim community for the next while.

Terrible loss of life for a concert. Should take solace that the French police went in fast and hard and saved scores more in there.

not only France. Pretty sure this will also have a lasting impact on every other European country that has been affected by the recent mass immigration from Syria.

DGSE is a term that many of you should know about, they're the French foreign Services Directorate. They are rare in that they actually have direct paramilitary groups attached to it beyond the usual foreign intelligence gathering.

They are what everyone thinks the CIA is, but isn't.

DGSE is ruthless and extremely vicious and they aren't hampered by a lot of oversight.

This is just heartbreaking. I know it's not on nearly the same scale and not the same group attacking, but I keep thinking about the attack on the Beslan school, every time I think about the Bataclan theatre.

Wtf, step away from the computer. Us helping out a fellow CPer in need has nothing to do with ideology or religion.

Thank goodness the suicide bombers weren't successful in entering the stadium. That could have meant thousands of deaths.

Apparently it already has:

Media reporting a refugee camp near Calais, France, has been set on fire. Photos show massive flames.

Edit: nope. Media outlets getting fooled by old pictures.

Frankly I suspect this was the main gameplan for the attack, and the other events were ancillary. That is pure speculation and I hate to speculate, but that just seems likely, doesn't it?

I think I read a report that the explosion at the Stadium was meant to go off after the match to inflict maximum death toll on the crowds exiting. It went off early though so that may have made the terrorists switch to plan B.

I'm thinking opposite. This isn't France burning a refugee camp, to me it's a group within the camp inciting riot conditions in order to escape or just cause havok.

WTF learn to read.

PIMKing is painting Muslims in the same brush, but when he needed help does he know who donated to him and what religion they were? It's all about perspective. I donated myself to PIMKing so you need to just calm down there buddy. Go for a walk or something.
