I'm sure there's some positives here but man, I feel like running my head through a wall right now.

Gio, Wideman and Russell are the ones wearing letters too. That's nice.

Ramo played well. Gio not so good.
A game where there was a lot to like but they still found a way to lose. Either it's a playoff team or you start trading some vets to help with the rebuild. At this rate we're going to know for sure before Christmas.
Oh well, such a bad season I don't even get mad anymore. Bennett, Gaudreau, Brodie, Hamilton and Monahan can be fantastic building blocks. Just need to work with that.

I actually didn't think Bishop was that great. It's just that he's so big that he covers most of the net so you have to pick your corners to beat him and the Flames didn't do much with a lot of their chances.

Everything else sucked? They were the better team outside of the first ten minutes where they got away still tied 0-0. Everything else didn't suck. Not even close.
It was a tight game, a late goal made it 3-1. If everything sucked, they would have lost 6-0.

The Flames couldn't make it to 90 meters. We are at a negative distance.

That's the kind of loss I could easily live with if we hadn't pissed away the first quarter of the season. Giordano, I don't even know what to say. He looks completely lost. Wideman is awful. Giveaways on #1 and #3. He needs to sit.

Honestly, this is a game I would use my eyes more than any stats. How many shots did Bishop casually snag out of the air vs how many traffic saves Ramo had to make.
We looked like the better team but at the end of the day but actual scoring chances (my definition using my eyes and not some calculation) were not even close.

Defensive coverage let's us down again. Also we are not good at the PK. Wonder how much of that extends to last year but not seeing it so much as we were the least penalized team

I mean...I expected there to be some regression, but it seems every single player is in a slump. The team does not play like a young + hungry team.
Hartley may have caught magic in a bottle last year, and he looks totally lost on what to do with this squad right now. Can't say I blame him.

The constant line juggling by Hartley is truly confusing, particularly with the d-corps. Shouldn't it be obvious what doesn't work by now?
Why is Russell even on the ice with Wideman during the last goal? Why did Hamilton start the 3rd period with Gio, when Hamilton and Russell actually seems to be working?
Is there something I'm missing? The Flames play their best game of the year against Pittsburgh and Hartley mixes up the offensive lines to start the game against Florida. What's the strategy that I'm missing? Serious question. Is there a legitimate purpose or is Hartley outsmarting himself?
