Thought we were the better team for most of the game. Bishop was excellent tonight, and we couldn't catch a break.
It was the type of game that we would just shrug our shoulders and move on from last season, but it hurts so much more because of our poor record this season.

Terrible. This team is an absolute joke. Giordano is not earning that contract. Wideman was an absolute train wreck. So much wrong with this team. It's painful to watch. What a waste of a good game from Ramo.

That last goal still has me angry. One of the worst efforts I've ever seen from Flames players in a long time.
Brutal defence. I don't care who's in net. Ramo actually played very well.
To me it starts with the captain. Time for Giordano to lead by example after landing his massive contract.

Wideman should have sat about 8 games ago. Hartley keeps playing him but he isn't scoring or doing anything resembling defending.

I strongly disagree. Tonight was possibly his best game all season. He had a ton of chances, just couldn't bury one unfortunately.

Gio needs to sit or wake up, and Wideman and Russell are terrible. Get off the team. Seems like the vets are dragging this team down big time. make some damn moves.

Kind of reminds me of 2009-2013 Flames. Veteran laden Flames club and you would think they would make smart plays because of their experience, but no. All sorts of mistakes and missed assignments. Too many men, bad icings, lazy defending. Ugh.
I'm a big believer in giving things time to sort themselves out, but it's just frustrating as a fan. A small part of me wants a shakeup, but I know that's not the right move right now. (besides shopping for a goalie obvs)

Giorando has no leg strength out there. He's slow. His acceleration sucks. He has poor body position. He gets knocked off the puck easily.
Does he have a lower body injury he's playing though?? Serious question.
