What is it gonna take for this team to stop allowing garbage goals right in front of the net

Gio and monahan have been god awful all year at moving people out of the way or even tying them up

I don't know about Ramo. At least 3 times pucks have hit him. Then his head goes one way while the puck goes another. Seems to have no idea where rebounds are going

No. Just no. His job is to put rebounds into areas with the lowest scoring opportunities on secondary chances. Ramo, nope. Reactionary rebounding and kicks hem out into high percentage scoring areas and the D men scramble from the right areas where the rebounds should be and look out of position because the goalie just sold himself out.

Then, like on the first goal creates an incredibly easy rebound HE should have controlled. Didn't, flopped around like a fish out of water and the panthers won the coin toss on the race to the open puck.

STOP DEFENDING RAMO'S STUPIDITY.

Serious question though, does anyone know how much they collect from equalization payments? Do they end up losing money or do they break even leeching off teams up north?

The first goal was a wrist shot - unscreened - that hit him in the glove. Yet he managed to drop it, and lose it, and get himself out of the way of the rebound.

When a goalie does something like that, it causes bedlam. The Flames' players would have thought either:

a) he freezes it, or
b) he controls the rebound and gives it to one of them.

But no, suddenly it's a fire drill. You cannot blame the defense for that. Stajan either.

That was an EASY play for Ramo and he completely ####ed it up

Exactly, his rebound control has not been good at all and even so he knows that the goals were his fault. Look at his body language. First he goes to the bench to talk to Ortio to calm down. Then after the second goal he says "####" right after it goes in.

His job is to stop the puck from going in the net.

There are 1000's of goalies out of the NHL that can make the first stop, the reason guys are starters in the NHL is that they make the 2nd and 3rd and at times 4th, 5th, 6th save.

Too many times this year and last Ramo is in horrible position to make the 2nd/3rd saves either because he over plays the shooter or has horrible reboudn control.

While both goals aren't 100% his fault they are goals that good goalies stop in the NHL.

Ramo does suck. It's just silly when everyone scream Ramo even on goals where it isnt his fault.

Gilies can't be ready soon enough. Now he's hurt.
A lot of teams looking for goalies, we can't really expect Brad to make something out of nothing.

We're just going to have to ride the season out and hope for the best.

Montreal has a better backup than any of our starters, but the Flames can't afford to develop Ortio in the pros.

Ramo was still the right call to start, coming off back to back wins.
