Default Very Strange Party/People Falling Down

This thread his sorta useless, but I think a few of the sicker individuals will get a laugh out of it...

Firstly, I had a very strange day recently. I was in Termini train station for a few hours and I saw three people fall down. It was hilarious. First, a woman was walking with her dog, when another dog came running up to sniff her dog. Her dog was kind of frightened and got in front of the woman, tripping her. It was all I could do to not laugh. Man, she bailed hard.
Then, another woman was walking along and she slipped on a blob of ice cream that fell from her own cone. She attempted to save teh cone at the cost of her body. It looked painful, but was funny nonetheless.
Then, I saw a woman just walking along, close to the curb, looking across teh street. She inadvertantly got too close to the edge and just toppled over, off the curb, into teh street. God I laughed at that one.
There was a near miss with a guy almost falling down the stairs, but he caught the rail with his armpit. Truly comical.

I know, I'm such an @sshole for finding any of those things funny.

The other thing I feel like mentioning (why? I'm not sure) is this really weird party Roma threw yesterday. It's called Notte Bianca. Everyone takes to teh streets and just walks around. Nothing really going on, just that EVERYBODY is walking the streets. It was packed. It was similar to World Cup, except that there was nothing to celebrate. OK, Roma did happen to win a football game earlier in the evening, but that had noting to do with it.
There was the odd stage set up with the odd musician playing something.... But that was all. Just a few hundred thousand people milling about and walking around in the middle of the night. I was out from about 12:30 to 3:30ish and really didn't see or hear anything. Lame.
Oh, I should add that all the stores stay open. I am at a loss to explain why one night a year, Romans just decide to stay up all night and walk around and do nothing.

Hahaha... That lady that slipped on her ice cream... I'm still laughing about it days later.

I was driving on 16th ave this past winter, and there were 3 guys. A bus started to pull up to the stop, and they were still about a block away. His two buddies started running, and the guy at the back started to as well.

After about 3-4 good strides, the last guy hit a patch of ice on the sidewalk and his legs kept running as he was falling down.. and he hit HARD.

I almost pee'd myself laughing so hard... I honked at the guy when he got up, and he gave the thumbs up, smiled, and got on the bus. I don't feel bad for laughing. It was damn funny and yours sounds like it too

If i fell down infront of several people, i would expect people to find it funny (so long as i wasn't unconscious, bleeding on the ground).

On the topic of laughing at people's misfortune, I was taking the bus to highschool many years ago and it was the day after a big rain. The bus started to pull in to the next stop and I see a lady wearing all white start to approach the curb. *SPLASH!* Mud water from head to toe. I felt bad, yet laughed my ass off as she turned around and started to walk back home.

I got mine though when I was leaning my chair against the back wall in one of my university lectures when suddenly the legs on the chair went out and I smacked my head on the wall. The prof stopped the lecture, my friends laughed hystarically, and I gave the thumbs up from the floor and the prof continued lecture.

I remember back in jr.high my friend was walking in downtown Lethbridge to get to the bus terminals. He saw some cute girls on the other side of the street who were looking at him. He smiled and promptly tripped over a small crack in the sidewalk.

I also remember sitting on the city bus with my friend. It was at the college and was starting to pull away. A guy in our class (who usually took the bus with us) was a bit late and had to run to catch the bus. He was in full sprint, heavy backpack at his side and from out of nowhere he stepped on a strap from his backpack lost his concentration and balance and tumbled the remaining 6 feet to the bus.

I was running down the C-Train ramp at the University Station a few months back and somehow gravity and a bum shoe conspired to make me trip at brisk pace and I was about to face plant in the worst way possible (think face against concrete like sandpaper on wood).

But I pulled out the kung-fu skills and did a roll with my backpack on. I landed on my backpack and rolled and bounced like 4 times with the pack cushioning me and I didn't have a scratch.

Looked around nervously but I don't think anybody saw me because it would have been the most ridiculous thing to have seen. A guy running at full speed with a full backpack log rolling down the C-Train ramp...

Ooh... I want to tell another story...

Awhile back, I was driving down 11th ave and was stopped at teh light at 11th st. The north south traffic was pretty light and a guy on rollerblades was gunning it northbound on 11th st. turning left onto 11th ave.
He could see that the westbound traffic was heavy and that he'd have to take to the sidewalk, and also that the light was turning red for him.....

He just goes full tilt and makes the left turn just as traffic starts to bear down on him. He makes it to the north side of the ave and jumps up onto the curb to continue his full speed stride.
As he jumps up, he (my speculation) looks back to see just how close he cut it and whammo! He crashes into a parking signpost.

I tell you I laughed like a hyena. I was in the left lane, so I looked to the right to see if I could pull over and see if the guy was ok, but there was a car beside me with a woman that was laughing even harder than me.

All appeared well. I saw him get up and keep going. He sure must have felt like a complete moron tho.....

I've biked into signposts before, looking behind me for whatever reason.

I once was biking down a residential sidewalk in junior high and there were two good looking girls walking towards me. I tried to move over to the lawn so that I could get out of their way, but that piece of lawn was trimmed in such a way that the sod stuck up a good couple inches from the sidewalk. I bailed huge, and hung my head in shame as I picked myself up. I never liked pretty girls laughing at me. You'd think I'd get used to it, considering how often it happens.
