Probably got a girlfriend or something that doesn't want him being bombarded with all the private messages that these guys probably get.

Who cares about his social media? You're mostly a bunch of full grown men. Do you really need to see Monahan take a selfie with Gaudreau before eating a dinner.

Let's go with Flames 5 , Florida 2. Two point night by Jager. Flames show up and play and it's the Johnny & Sam show.

Yea, he spends a lot of time on IR. But this time it's just a broken hand. Not like he's got a knee issue that won't go away or anything like that.

Yes, but that game was TERRIBLE.

It was a rare East Coast afternoon game, which was great for me, since it was one of the few reg. season games that I was able to watch live while I was living in Norge.

My landlord from Cambridge was staying at my flat over the weekend, and I took the opportunity to introduce him to professional ice hockey that night, which turned out to be an awful decision. The game was a gong-show, and the only feed I could access was a low bit-rate illegal SD stream.

Suffice it to say, David never really expressed much interest in the NHL after that.

I hate the whole social media thing to begin with. Not judging guys who use it, but it's Not my cup of tea.

But if he was an active social media guy, it's just a little odd that he deleted it all abruptly. Most people I know who delete all their stuff abruptly have gone through a personal thing.

I hope he's not going through something "bad" right now that might throw off his game. That's the only concerning part for me. If he feels like he's just grown out of it, well even better then.

Hmm... Could it be sour grapes? On Johnny's EN goal against Pittsburgh, Monahan was standing right in front of the net waiting for a pass and instead Johnny weasled it in himself, unassisted.

Flames with a solid 5-2 win. Monahan with a big night... 3 goals. Gaudreau with 3 assists. Ferland gets his first of the year.

Can you hear me rolling my eyes? I'm audibly rolling my eyes.

Flames win 3-1. Monahan with the hat trick.

Haha I would die of both happiness and fear if I saw Johnny fight someone.

Looking back at Johnny's EN goal on the highlights, Monahan just doesn't look too impressed.

That being said...

Looking back at that post, yes. Yes I do hear your eyes rolling.

On Topic: Flames 4-1 with a good start to the road trip.

It would be nice to follow up the Keystone State sweep at home with a sweep of the Sunshine State on the road.

That's probably because it was 4-2 with 2 minutes left and it was an empty netter. The only times I've seen people deleting everything was girlfriend issues or super stalking or hacker doxing.

Regardless of why, it's just one less thing to think about now, maybe he's just removing all distractions. 2 Goals for Monahan tonight!

No, but we really need to see Monahan take a selfie with Cali after scoring the game winning goal!

The interesting thing though is Gaudreau unfollowing him on Instagram and Twitter.
