Being fair the draft didn't start until 63 but your point is still good. The Flames have never had a 1st overall. The highest being 4th.

I'll never understand how if a player dives the "offending" player still gets a penalty. Would probably make diving less of a problem if it resulted in a PK for your team.

That Taylor Hall sure showed some defensive awareness and hustle on that goal...

Player A commits a foul. Player B, upon being fouled, engages in unwarranted theatrics. Both are worthy of punishment, and the fact that Player B did something worthy of a penalty after being fouled shouldn't completely negate the foul.

Fair enough, but if Player A doesn't commit a foul unless Player B fell down, Player A shouldn't be penalized.

The really egregious ones should be double minors. That Kruger flop was embarrassing.

Oh man, go to HF Oilers Chicago Edmonton game thread right now for some high quality entertainment. Hysterical. Their fans are already turning on Talbot.

Guy was so deep in his net on that shot it's going to have to take Plan B after the game

All we heard from these fans in the off season was how Talbot was the answer and wasn't the second coming of Scrivens. I beg to differ so far.

I think that Parayko has to get some consideration...I don't think that Panarin is really going to get too much support, I think some of the voters will hold his KHL experience against him, not viewing him as a true "rookie".
