He "drew a line in the sand" and then wimped out, had he stopped the nightmare and took out Assad right then and there it may have saved thousands of lives and ISIS most likely wouldn't exist.
Yeah, because the effects of those sorts of interventions in that region have historically been fairly straightforward and easy to predict. Solid analysis.

On Bill Maher yesterday, their first debate with the panel was about Keystone. Maher is 100% against the pipeline.
However,
It's fairly interesting, the female panelist, Jillian Melchior, brought up some very interesting points about how this decision will increase the carbon footprint of the "tar" sands.
Bill Maher has trouble seeing why people need vaccinations. I am not surprised one bit he can't see the actual facts around this pipeline.
The guy is the Bill O'Rilley of the left. A buffoon that likes to hear his own voice, he just plays to a different political leaning that likes to also hear their own thoughts get validated.
Honestly, I tuned that guy out a long time ago.

Awesome, but I have no love for him either. As I stated, his points wasn't the point of my post, it was his panels.
Tune him out all you want, I was suggestion people watch this particular segment as the panel brings up good points pro-keystone.
Bill Maher's main job is that of a comedian. Meanwhile, Bill O'Liely pawns himself off as a solid news source (laughs). When doing any sort of fact checking, one comes up far shorter than the other, although I do agree that Maher is wrong on some issues. And personality wise, Maher is far more stable than the other guy.

Obama is possibly the most gutless president in U.S history.
You seem hung up on the line in the sand thing.
How should he take out Assad? Are you standing by your statement of bombing?
Who takes control afterwards? Leaving power vacuums doesn't really work out. Muslim brotherhood, are you sure that's a good idea?
How would ISIS not exist if Assad was taken out?

It's not rocket science, ISIS is the product of Assad's genocide that continued unabated as the world stood back and watched. Syria's initially peaceful protesters quickly became disenchanted and disillusioned at the sight of dismembered children and people suffering from the effects of chemical weapons turned violent and militant, eventually they and kids around the world joined groups like al-Qaida. al-Baghdadi took advantage of this and formed ISIS.
Many of the youth from around the world stated they only went to Syria after seeing Assad's genocide on TV.
The minute chemical weapons and barrel bombs were used on citizens(Obama's line in the sand) Assad should have been bombed to the size of an atom.

Shock and awe style?
I'm surprised, after all the evidence to the contrary, that the old "the Americans can bomb them into the stone age" approach is still something people think works.

Why not just complete the pipeline up to the nearest rail line along the Canada - US border. Allow the US to determine how they want the oil moves from that point on. At least we'd be mitigating the cost of pushing the oil and the risk of oil spills caused by train derailments.
Unless he's changed his opinion (which he might have in recent times) he's always had an anti vaccine bias.
Many people don't believe a flu shot is necessary..myself included. But to say he's anti vaccine is wrong, I doubt Polio, Smallpox..etc. is on his list.
That no how bad the situation ... do not take a stand, do not commit any troops or get any skin in the game. No one remembers the people that die unless they are your own.
They call it the Rwanda doctrine. If you don't do anything you can't be blamed for anything. Once the Republicans learn this, and after then next few elections they will, the world will need a new policeman.
Get your friggin flue shot! You're putting sick people at risk who can't get it.
I don't' care if one year there is only a 25% rate it works, get it and stop being stupid
Shut it, I don't tell strangers what to put into their body's and either should you, I will get a flu shot if I'm about to visit someone in an old folks home or hospital, other than that I let my body make it's own antibodies thank you very much.

no you shut up!
Sorry, I don't know why, but you're response made me laugh way harder than it should have.
I am a child I know
But No, I stand by my point of telling strangers what to put in their bodies when it comes to most vaccines.
