Put four five past the stingiest team in league. Crosby was acting like a baby the whole game.
Edit: forgot the empty-netter. Flames are the first team to score five on Pittsburgh this year.

Whatever they fed Backlund today, they should keep feeding him. His best game by a long shot

Also, how is it that all this time later people aren't using the stabilized Scorch jig gif?

With all the interviews he does, Johnny's going to be able to provide CBC or Sportsnet towels to his family for quite a while!

This is the Flames team we expected to see from day one. Ramo was excellent tonight. Makes you wonder if the three goalie situation upset his confidence.

Russell nailed him into the boards at the beginning of the game. I think he was rattled after that and just couldn't get it going

When things finally work out well, it's nice to see. Solid effort from start to finish.

That game had some Scorch to it - lots of positive energy all night.
Johnny is the most entertaining Flame since Fleury, and Bennett is gathering steam and looking awesome.
It's all coming together, and not a moment too soon.

Last two games for Ramo:
2-0-0, 1.50 GAA, 0.942 sv%
Solid game tonight, shut the door in the third. Could have been 7-2 with all the chances the Flames had but I'll take it. Time to hit the road -- we've got a playoff spot to catch!

Is this the turnaround? Sure looks like a different team, and a team that is much better at driving play than last year's squad. This season might still turn out to be a fun ride.

Said it already. Win that one ugly game and things start to turn. Tonight was the start.
