Well, all I have to say is that the immunity Challenge amused, with the tribe scoring wrong...though I think Angkor would have won without the help.
That was a hella blindside
We lose our first player in Tron_fdc.=(

Monica could have seen that coming in the friction she caused with Kimmy. I think it was key that they showed us that particular scene. I don't think that Kimmy's entire reaction was JUST based on that one comment, it was deep rooted with the clam argument. Some people are just oblivious to the way that their actions rub off on those around them. Monica is a prime example of that.
Win win situation for Spencer and Wigglesworth, and the paranoia of Stephen and Jeremy is exposed which may end up causing a rift next week it looks like. Another pretty solid episode, watching Spencer and Jeremy try to be out doors guys was the high light for me lol. Hard not to like Spence.

BOOOO!!! I'm out!!!
I just watched the episode on my PVR, and I have to say it was worth it. Great episode. Interesting to see the new school/old school angle as well; no loyalty, and if you say or do the wrong thing at the wrong time you're gone.
I hope Abi makes it into a merge. She's a total wild card and could be the difference for Spencer/Kelly etc looking for an ally. All it takes is a little sweet talk and she's on your side. Makes for great TV when someone gets blindsided, or the vote actually goes a totally different way than what you are expecting.

That is a good point, it has been refreshing seeing someone that will actually flip. Abi may not be the best player strategy wise, or maybe she is since she is still here, but she keeps it entertaining by turning entire votes on their head.
Really hate those seasons where one alliance dominates the whole thing, like Tom's season comes to mind or when Rob won.

I like the fact that Abi is playing the Wildcard, she's incredibly dangerous to anyone's game and she's not allowing the so called strategic players to form and sit on their alliances.
She's playing the free agent incredibly well, and I don't think she's really doing it on purpose.
Plus she's universally hated, so there's a better then average chance that you want her in the jury, because she's not going to be able to sell herself out of what she's done.
She's similar to I think Jeri Manthey or whatever her name is who in her first two seasons embraced being a villain, then played an incredible game in her last time out.

sorry - can't get on the Abi train.
When she speaks, I try to mute the TV or turn away. She is a train wreck.
But she does have someone else's tendon in her knee....

And CP loses another player in brocoli. =(
Sorry to hear about Terry like that. That's got to suck, but it's a 100% understandable reaction. I only hope that he was able to get where he needed to in time. (saw Deitz' message at the end of the show - yeah, that'd be completely scary, and glad he was able to be there for his son and that his son is doing well)
Merge-again: And again, it seems like there isn't a very good mixup of the tribes. I almost wonder there needs to be a different way of picking that. It just seems that any 'pick a new buff' situation really seems to come out poorly. Though, it looks like it doesn't matter, as it's going to merge next episode.
Savage's downfall there...instead of saying "who should we put up to fool Spencer?" he says "Ciera, you are going up." I think if he'd asked, Spencer would be gone right now, not Woo.
Good episode, though I always kinda think that the "eat the weird stuff" challenge is kinda weak.

That was unfortunate how Terry left, but I'm glad they gave us that update at the end about his son doing well.
Savage should have used his own name as the decoy instead of Ciera. Ciera had her breakout episode tonight, she did a great job recognizing where she was on the totem pole and flipping that vote.
It's a questionable move for Kass to keep Spencer - I don't see any possibility of a long term alliance between them. Also shocking that she decided to keep him, but it makes for good TV that Chaos Kass is back. I'm sad to see Woo go though, thought he had a strong last few episodes and there wasn't really anything he could have done.
Surprised more people didn't see what Stephen was seeing with Joe. Joe was being painfully obvious with his allegiances and I'd be frustrated too. It's gonna be tough to take out all of these alpha males if they band together.
Spencer is one of the luckiest players ever. He's survived so many votes where it looked like he was going to go - in both of his seasons. Not a great social or even strategic player IMO, but he always finds a way to stay in it.
The merge is going to be crazy. Everybody is playing hard this season, and nearly every vote has been close and/or a blindside.

I'm sure they see it... they just don't care. Jeremy wants to keep Joe as a shield, others want him for challange prowess, others probably just think that it's to early to get rid of at least a semi-number in Joe.
I completely understand where Stephen is coming from, he waited to long on JT and JT then beastmoded his way to the end (the only way a player like Joe get's to the end).
Props: Jeremy, he's the man with the plan.
Slops: Kass, the whole theme this season is second chance... they beat it over your head with the edit, those who don't adapt their game go home. The shift from Kalm Kass to Khaos Kass is death for her... no way would they edit her this way if she won.

I disagree, someone on this board put their finger on it for Jeremy, he is all talk with no show. At the end of the challenge he grabs a tiny little nibble of that food Kass couldn't get down, for what reason? Trying to puff his chest out? You barely even licked it, take a bite if you want to be a big tough guy about it. Jeremy will never win the game of Survivor because when the chips fall and its like alright JR what did you do? "Well I.... ermm.." nope.
Great episode, Terry seemed to be handling the news really well I was impressed, but I am guessing he was just in shock. I was happy to see that little message at the end that his son is doing OK. It would be pretty cool to see Terry and his son get a shot at Survivor redemption maybe in the next Blood vs. Water season (could someone with a transplanted heart pass the medicals? Not sure how that works, but I am assuming they could?).
Poor Woo, there is literally nothing he could have done differently besides maybe working the phones a little harder at camp. But then at that point you start looking a little to shifty and draw attention on yourself so it really was a lose lose for him. I think Savage realized at tribal that he had made a mistake throwing up Ciera's name and now he will be able to adjust and back track.
I still don't get why they went after Woo instead of Savage, they had a prime chance to chop the head off the snake and blew it. I am glad he is still in, I am rooting for him, but still I think that ends up biting one of them in the ass as he will come back guns blazing next episode.
At least Ciera showed she is more than dead weight on a tribe last night, feather in her cap for the final jury if she can get there. What a season.

I doubt that Terry's son would every get medically cleared for something like survivor which is to bad. Good for him for the no hesitation split and no big teary speech at the end.
Woo really didn't work hard enough to stay in the game, he was a sheep and sheep get slaughtered. If there is a merge next week, I agree that they waited too long for Joe to be dumped, and if he starts motoring on challenges its going to be tough to get him out.
Kass is a moron, plain and simple, I've never liked her game, she's pretty much riding coat tales and when she does make moves she's a moron.
Abi with a pretty quiet week, no one is seeing her as a threat right now, and she's firmly out of the target area. I give her credit she played the tribal side well to get here, but now it shifts to the individual game, she could be in tough.
I wanted to add, that clearly that waterslide with baby oil game was for the ratings, and they plummeted when Kimmie started oiling up. Abi though, damn

Haha ya I forgot about that part.. Kelly Wentworth "Oil up Joe." Then the look on Tasha's face, classic. Made me think of this part from Survivor One World:

Here's what I would have done if I was Spencer.
Go to Savage, tell him that hey, I know you're going to try and blindside me, but all is forgiven IF you, Woo, Kelly and myself all vote Kass. Because right now, those other 3 are all banding together to go after Woo, and if we pull this off the ringleader (Kass) is out.
Although I'm sure it makes a lot of sense arm chair quarterbacking it, and not actually being there.

Well, that was quite the episode. Tons of scheming, tons of what makes Survivor awesome. Not at all sad to see Kass go, and I think that the crew made the right decision. I also notice that Ceira didn't vote for Tasha..which she was supposed to. Interesting, that.
I also wonder if we are going to see Joe go all challenge-beast through to the Final Three.
Impressed at the merge, and it's going to be a massive jury, too. This is going to be a crazy remaining season, for sure.

Glad Kass is gone without a jury seat, I had enough of her for the rest of my Survivor watching life. Ciera caught in her lie should be next but she will slip under the radar now as bigger threats emerge. I still fully expect a POOR ME cry session from her at some point next week. I don't think there has ever been a worse player who thought they were better. Her little speech at Tribal, what exactly have you ever done? Throw your mom under the bus and still lose? Brutal. Probst seemed confused and struggled to relate anything to the point she was trying to make.
This game is moving so fast it is just nuts, I couldn't imagine how fast it seems when you are actually there playing it.

Kass is a terrible player because she's so untrustworthy, and Ceira voting the way that she did was bizarre, and declaring herself as basically a her only mercenary was stupid.
Glad to see Kass go, she was never a good player.
Abi has really faded into the background over the last few weeks.

Uh....I thought that Kass is on the Jury? Didn't Jeff say "...and the first member of our jury...." when he announced Kass as gone?
