I originally came on as GerryCheevers....my favorite hockey player..and a player Ive met on numerous occasions..GCs nickname is Cheese and thats what everyone called me...and thats what people call me at work...so I changed it here to Cheese.
Im thinking of changing it now to Holy Cheese...or Cheezuz!

When I came on here to sign up, I had no idea which nick to choose. I scrolled through the location choices and saw "Vatican City" was one selection. Hahahaha, says I, wouldn't it be funny if I said I was the Pope and my location was the Vatican.

Me. Signed up when Flames went on a crazy winning streak or were doing generally quite well. I think a good handful of years ago now...I remember watching some game in Philly, when they won (I think?) and thinking holy **** these guys are finally good. Not fake good, but they have a good shot type of thing. Soo...hence they were Redhot. On fire. So I chose Redhot. Can't remember why the 25, however.

Coming from Calgary, and being a long time Flames fan since they moved to our city, I think my nickname here speaks for itself!!!

I play online bridge at a site, and you can have pics on your bridge card. Mine is the beautiful flaming red C and I have a caption on my bridge card saying, Calgary Flames #1 Fan.

Back in high school me and 2 friends made a bunch of movies and games and stuff, we made up 'stixs-creations' and made a series of comics, one of the characters was loosely based on me, Super-Rye. He wore a cape and a pot on his head...I'll try and find a pic for yah.

Well I used to post on sportsnet.ca before coming here in 2003. When Button acquired Turek in 2001 he got on his hot streak at the beginning of the 2001-02 season and I became a huge fan. The he signed the contract and wasn't playing as great as he was when he first got here. But I was still a fan, but everyone else jumped ship and started hating him. I continued to like him and support him and when I signed up at sportsnet, I used the usename the_only_turek_fan. I kept it when I migrated here in 2003.

Pretty basic. red = Flames and Stamps. 00 = 2000, which is the year I really started to get into the Calgary sports scene (I was before, but never as much), and it's a random number. If I could I'd change it to just 'red', thats who I am on gostampsgo.com.

a play on my last name...my buddies in high school started calling me 'calf'. It's stuck ever since, so decided to use it on here/other boards.

It is what I used on other boards before I came here.

I was originally nicknamed Buff by some friends after a summer of working out at the gym. I started using a different name everywhere else, but I'm gradually going back to Buff again.
