3 of the last 5 hat tricks scored by a Flame have been against the Oilers (Frolik tonight, Raymond last year, and Glencross in the 8-1 game two seasons ago). All three were at Rexall too.
Excellent.

Randorf calling Nugent Hopkins 'The Nuge' should be a face punchable offense. Seriously.
Meh, he also calls Gaudreau "Johnny Hockey" and Colborne "Jumbo Joe".
Bennett has zero fear and so much confidence. Takes the puck straight to the opposition on a lot of plays and tries to make them look silly. He is going to be a star but it will come with some giveaways as well but it comes with the kind of player he is.
I thought Hudler had a bad game, as did Giordano.
Flames really needed this, hopefully it turns things around for their confidence and they go on a run here. I'm shocked they're just 4 points out.
So what do you disagree with? The flames deserved to win? Or that goal shouldn't have counted.
It's mind boggling that people think that goal should count. As a Flames fan I can remember a few times where Ryan Smyth would "accidentally" bump into a Flames goalie resulting in goals.
It's really quite simple. If the goalie is in the crease you can't touch him and he needs to be able to move freely when trying to make a save. Not sure how people can argue against this.

This regulation win tonite with just eight seconds left in the third could be just as pivotal for the Flames as that donnybrook with the Canucks back in January 2014. Something to build on for sure.

It looks like the league is starting to show some consistency in the goalie interference calls. I was watching some of the Rangers/Leafs game last night, and Lupul had a goal waved off. He barely touched Lundqvist, but his skate contacted his left pad and affected his ability to make the save. I think the refs got this one right, and it was a good challenge by Hartley.

Flames win. I've been drinking since the Stamps game. Happy Halloween!
